What makes Piano4Everyone different than other piano studios?

We are focused on the enjoyment and well-being of the participants and the group, not an artistic or aesthetic outcome.

Our students don’t require talent or training, they just need to have a desire to have fun and to unwind with us by making music.

If this sounds like your style of learning, tap the link in our bio. We’d love to connect with you!

Have you performed at a recital? Let me know in the comments what that was like.

Did you know the modern piano dates all the way back to the 1700s?

It was first called "clavicembalo col piano e forte," which translates to “a harpsichord that can play soft and loud noises.”

Now, over 300 years later, people all over the world make music on pianos. How cool is that?

What fun facts do you know about the piano? Let us know in the comments.👇👇

“Say cheeeeese!!”

It’s a gift to teach such incredible students how to play the piano. I love developing a personal connection with the students and watching them grow.

My heart swells every time students ask to take a photo with me with their trophy. It makes me feel like I’ve impacted their lives and that they want to capture this moment.

Do you think you’re fast on the piano?

In 2017, Domingos-Antonio Gomes hit the piano keys 824 times in only ONE minute! Now that’s speedy!

How many do you think you could hit?🤔

Imagine baking a cake and not knowing the importance of sugar! You’d be more likely to forget about the sugar because you’d be too focused on how the cake will taste.

Understanding that sugar is sweet and will improve your cake is like understanding how theory impacts music. When you know the concept of theory, you can understand how to perform a song in the best way.

Theory also helps musicians communicate in the same terms—imagine if your friend called sugar something else than you—it would confuse you.

Theory is the language of music and a foundation for every musician.

Theory is important and OF COURSE.... We'll make it FUN! 😊🙃

Even with masks, you can see my students are smiling and full of pride as they hold their trophies.

It brings me such joy to see students' eyes light up when they receive their trophies.

I’m so proud of each student and how far they’ve come in their learning.

Today is , and I’m taking a moment to celebrate the creativity of everyone I get to work with. May we all continue to make art through music.

I get asked a lot, “Is it harder to learn to play the piano as an adult?”

My answer to this question is “No!”.

Anyone can learn to play the piano, and every age has pros and cons. Many of my adult students are more determined and focused on learning and excel faster than my younger students.

At Piano4Everyone, we make piano accessible for EVERYONE! If you’re afraid that you’re “too old” to play the piano, let this be an encouragement. If you’re determined to learn, you will! Please send me a message or visit my website to learn more.

Here are our top 5 piano tips:

🎹 Invest in a good teacher: you’ll enjoy learning piano more if you can ask questions and be confident that you’re learning from an expert.
🎹 Play music that you actually enjoy: you’ll enjoy learning the piano more if you enjoy listening to the music you’re playing. It will help you be more excited to practice as well.
🎹 Don’t compare your progress with others: everyone is on their journey, and there is no benefit in comparing.
🎹 Understand basic theory: this will help you learn quickly because you’ll have a deeper understanding.
🎹 Use good posture: practicing good posture while playing will avoid aches and help you practice longer.

Are you or your child interested in learning piano? If you’d like to practice our #1 piano tip, please contact us or visit our website. Investing in a good teacher is a great place to start!

Kids are facing more stress than ever before.😓

With the overload of information and the high expectations of schooling, many children feel anxious and overwhelmed.

Music is an opportunity to change this. Creating music provides the disconnect that so many children need, and it enables them to calm their minds and focus on creating something beautiful.

If your child often feels overwhelmed, they may find peace in playing the piano. If you’re interested in learning more, please send us a message or visit our website.
