A recent pet portrait for my dear friends of their recently departed pup, Dumpling. This one was tough bc I knew her so well, but it warms my heart to know that her memory & essence will live on. I can still hear her little whimper when she’s waiting for food. Rest in peace, Dumpling! 🐾

If you know me, you know I’m a sucker for nostalgia. I wanted to pay homage to a tv show from my childhood, The Hawaiian Moving Company.

It was a weekly show highlighting local talent & stories that ran from 1978-2004. (Fun fact: was featured on a segment as a child Elvis impersonator)

When researching the show, I was surprised to learn that it was originally a disco show that gave dance tutorial (and now the name makes way more sense!)

I was really inspired by the original logo and wanted to recreate it with a neon sign effect.

Yayyy!! I can finally share my last commission of 2023.

Thank you & David for asking me to recreate the artwork for aka . I got to experiment with some blending/gradient techniques & am really happy with how it turned out. Lots of trial & error but I learned a lot from this one and look forward to playing with ombré more.

It brings me so much joy to make meaningful & long-lasting pieces. Feel free to reach out if you have a jacket, garment, or other item that you’d like chainstitched into a treasured heirloom.

11/25- I’ll be in San Pedro helping shop small. We’ll be offering complimentary embroidery with an in-store purchase from 1-3.

12/3- is hosting a holiday pop-up! I’ll be bringing some small goods that will be available to personalize, BYOG (bring your own goods), or get something from the shop! They have the cutest selection to pick from.

12/5- is hosting a grand opening event. We’ll be offering complimentary embroidery with your in store purchase from 11-2

12/6- heading down to SD & offering complimentary monogramming at

Every piece has its challenges and this one was being able to create dimension using shades of white (aka grays & beiges). It’s not perfect but I’m happy with how it turned out.

The tops are made from linen and ethically made in Lithuania. Artwork was created using my vintage, hand-operated chainstitch embroidery machine.

The pants are a linen/rayon blend and made in Los Angeles. Tonal hand embroidered blanket stitching detail finish each pocket edge. I literally live in these pants, they are so comfortable!

Hiii!! Just popping in to let you know that the Good Luck Bar commemorative jacket is listing on my site if anyone’s interested in getting it! For whatever reason won’t let me tag it (😫 why????) but follow the link in my bio & visit my website if you wanna get it. It’s the first listing.

A little about this piece:
The artwork is from a matchbook (although I did adjust some of the verbiage and used the accurate kanji characters) & chainstitched onto this jacket using my hand-guided vintage chainstitch machine.

The jacket is a vintage jacket size XL. There were huge holes in the collar & cuff seam that I repaired using sashiko mending techniques.

Got to personalize the cutest batch of vintage kids clothes. I used a mix of chainstitch & hand embroidery due to the placements requested.

Ngl the back pants were a pain in the ass to do without a post bed but we do what we can with what we have, right? 🥴

If you have some old threads that need a some sprucing up, I can help with that… and if you’re in LA, you’re welcome to drop off/pick up from my studio. You’ll be able to pick the design and thread color. It’s like a tattoo shop but for your clothes!

I’m not sure how well these pictures will translate on Instagram but thought I’d share another mending project.

I’ve had this cotton gauze comforter for years. Over time it’s gotten some pretty big holes but we love it so much and didn’t want to throw it away. I also love visible mending but wanted it to be subtle, so went with an all-white palette.

This was fun because it was just for me so the stakes were pretty low and I got to experiment with different sashiko patterns.

I’m really embracing the mix of hand embroidery & chainstitch. For a while I was transitioning away from hand stitching but I’m learning that I can, in fact, do both.
