LORs are Letters of Recommendation that have the power to improve your chances of getting matched into your medical residency application in the USA 🇺🇸
It´s said that LORs rank #2 among the top 5 most important factors when reviewing a residency candidate’s application because those prove you have exposure to US medical environments and that you have good communication skills 👍

Performing standards for the USMLE are based on a specified level of proficiency. As a result, recommended pass outcomes on all Steps examinations are reported on a 3-digit scale (except Step 2 CS, which is reported as pass/fail).
The current minimum passing scores are as follows:
🔹 Step 1: 194
🔹 Step 2 CK: 209
🔹 Step 3: 198
The recommended minimum passing level is reviewed periodically and may be adjusted at any time.
Remember you should work hard (by improving your CV and getting high scores) to get matched into the specialty of your preference.
