Help the K-12 students at RFK UCLA Community School by supporting summer enrichment learning opportunities. Your gift will offer students opportunities to attend UCLA’s BruinCamps, where they will experience a variety of recreational activities. At Bruins on Water, for one, students learn kayaking, paddle boarding, and sailing with recreational professionals in Marina del Rey. These programs develop leadership skills and provide positive experiences with their peers outside of academic environments.
Your support will enable us to offer summer enrichment programming including UCLA’s UniCamp program, which is a week-long summer residential camp in Big Bear, California, where students are encouraged to explore and interact with the outdoors. Through these programs, students also connect with individuals that can inspire and aid their academic journeys beyond high school.

As Dr. King himself said when he spoke at UCLA on April 27, 1965, “We have come a long, long way in the struggle to make justice and freedom a reality in our nation, but we still have a long, long way to go.” Today, we recognize that Dr. King’s work remains unfinished. At UCLA ED&IS, we pay homage to his legacy daily by raising our voices on Black issues and educating others on creating meaningful change. We proudly support programs and research centers that honor his legacy and emphasize the profound impact one person can make. 🌟
