This beautiful patient came to me upset about the fact that her 4 veneers were bulky, opaque, and not proportional to the rest of her face and smile.

We replaced them with 6 new porcelain veneers that were more natural and worked in harmony with the rest of her facial features, bringing balance to her overall appearance.

This patient came into my office missing both lateral incisors. We performed a modified veneer prep using the two front teeth as anchors to replace the adjacent missing teeth. We also performed a laser gum lift to correct the proportions of his overall smile.

It’s incredible to see a patient like this, who has spent years hiding his smile, leave our office smiling with so much confidence.

Amidst all of the chaos, there were many blessings that came out of this last year.

Living in California during quarantine allowed me to pick up new hobbies like road cycling, which ended up showing me just how badly I needed to make the time to breathe and clear my head more often.

Although I’ve been back in the office working for months, this has been one of the things that I promised myself I’d continue doing to slow down and appreciate the little things when I find myself rushing through life.

Believe it or not, I wasn’t supposed to be a dentist.

Growing up, I always thought I was going to go to medical school. It’s a great career, it seemed like the right thing to do, and I never really questioned it. But, when it came time to apply, I developed a new interest in dentistry because of the attention to detail it required and how creative it allowed you to get within the field of science and medicine. So, although it may not have made the most sense to others, I made a game time decision to apply to dental school instead.

It’s safe to say that I love what I do, have built a practice with an incredible team, and have never regret my decision, which are all incredible and rare blessings.
