Just a reminder that I do have policies set in place to help run my business as smooth as possible. ☺️

These policies are set not to “punish you,” but really to protect myself, and to make sure all of my clients and their times are treated fairly and equally.

When a client no shows or does not reschedule/cancel with enough notice, not only do I take a hit (being an independent stylist means when my chair is empty, my wallet is empty), but a client that was on a waitlist for that day takes a hit too.

This is also why I have a great system in place to send out multiple reminder texts and a way for you to confirm your appointment. So important!

😷 NEW LA MASK MANDATE 😷

Starting this week, all guests must wear a mask when entering the salon and will no longer be able to take off your mask when seated in my chair.

I know how frustrating this may be for some, especially with the back and forth, and I truly appreciate your patience and participation.

⚠️ NEW MASK POLICY STARTING JUNE 15 ⚠️

Navigating a personal care business throughout a pandemic has taken a lot of care and consideration. And we can all agree that this last year has been a big shift in how we operate our day-to-day lives, both personally and at our work places. It is in this spirit that we have carefully planned on how to proceed starting June 15th.

Our main goal is, and has always been, the safety and comfort of our guests. As of June 15th, we have decided to maintain that clients wear masks while entering and exiting the salon, also while walking around the salon, or while getting their hair washed. If you feel comfortable enough in doing so, while seated at my station receiving a service, you may remove your mask. All stylists will maintain wearing a mask at all times for optimal safety due to high exposure. If you would like to keep your masks on during the entirety of your service, you are more than welcome to do so.

We (as the salon) realize that everyone has different comfort levels and beliefs when it comes to Covid-19 safety protocols and procedures. We have taken every consideration in trying to provide an environment where most will feel comfortable. As always, your continued love and support means everything to us and has been the driving force in our financial and emotional survival throughout these times. I personally cannot thank each and one of you enough.

Got my last bit of Disney in before it becomes a 💩 show tomorrow. 😅

Finally got to go on the new Rise of the Resistance ride (twice) and walked around Avengers Campus. It was so nice to go back to my happy place but I also forgot how hot my happy place can get during the summer.

So I’ll be back for Halloween time, Disney. ✌🏽

1. I am not fully vaccinated yet (got my two doses but hasn’t been two weeks yet).

2. I don’t know who is fully vaccinated and who isn’t. And I’m not ready to get controversial and make you guys show me your vaccination card (because we all know the drama of this “vaccine passport” right now).

3. We are waiting for CA Board of Barbering and Cosmetology to make an announcement on what they’d like CA salons to do.

Just a little bit longer and I think we are almost there! Thank you for being patient and following the salon rules, while keeping the salon space safe for ALL clients and stylists (not just my clients).

I will be out of the salon for the next 2.5 weeks and will be returning April 8th.

Thank you to every single one of my clients for being patient with me once again while we transition to our new home.

Even though my stay this last location was short, it was a huge part of the new shift and new change towards happiness and leaving a very toxic environment. This place will always hold a special place in my heart.

But with that being said, we will still remain The Social Parlour and we are all moving together (minus who I’ll miss so much but so happy that she is finally a salon owner herself!).

I can’t wait to share this new chapter and our new home with everyone. ♥️
