Although all of our restaurants are now closed to dine-in, we still have our teppan scorching hot and ready to grill up okonomiyaki!

Helloooooo Everyone! It's been a while since we've last posted but we wanted to let everyone know that Team Chinchikurin is still here and we're not going to turn off our teppan even during these tough times!
Effective immediately, we'll be serving up our good'ol Hiroshima Okonomiyaki hot off the teppan as take-out/to-go orders. To help with the tough times ahead, we're providing a 10% discount on the entire food bill (does not include tax) for orders of 1-2 okonomiyaki, and we'll bump that discount up to 20% on orders of 3 or more okonomiyaki (again, tax not included). This discount applies to all three Chinchikurin restaurants so please visit the one closest to where you are!
Also, please note that our hours have been adjusted so be sure to call in your order to confirm our hours, and for faster pick up!
As with all Angelenos, Chinchikurin is working hard to face this uncertain challenge. But together, we got this.
And remember: be good, be safe, and there will be enough toilet paper for everyone.

Come join us and get okonomi-faced with our new izakaya style menu that is akin to the menu for the Chinchikurin's in Japan! And to top it all off, our alcohol menu is now OPEN!!! So come celebrate our Grand Opening with us today, tomorrow, or everyday! (Except Tuesdays...=P)

Our Torrance location has been ready to open since the end of last year but since there's been a lot of unforeseen difficulties, the light at the end of the teppan somehow seemed to get smaller instead of bigger.....but no more! Our grand opening is literally right around the corner! As we keep our fingers crossed, we hope to give everyone an update in the very near, near future!

Our boys are at it again! Spreading the okonomiyaki love, even if it means leaving the Best Coast to represent on the East Coast! Duking it out with 7 other fierce competitors this past weekend, Chinchikurin was the grand prize winner of the Konamon Festival held in the Upper West Side of NYC!
Shout out to the Japan crew Hiro, Shin, Kenji, and Daisuke, and to the US crew G-money from Lil Tokyo and Bad Boy Mike from Sawtelle!
And a hearty THANK YOU to our friends for hosting another great Konamon Festival!

Speaking of grilling, Chinchikurin-Little Tokyo has added hours over the weekend! Starting this weekend, we will be running straight through from 11:30am all the way until last call at 10:30pm! ....so....we know we haven't been the most vocal about things lately, but madness is looming right around the corner and we wanted to warn you that....

CHINCHIKURIN-LITTLE TOKYO WILL HAVE ITS SOFT OPENING THIS COMING THURSDAY, 3/8/18!

To finally be able to say "opening" (albeit it's a soft opening) almost brings Otafuku-sauce-like-tears to our okonomiyaki filled eyes....but enough of these hera unfunny puns! Hiroshima comfort food awaits!

Come experience our new dining teppan tables (the first of its kind!) and soothe your takoyaki cravings with Tanota takoyaki (Shout-out to our main-man Takeo!) while feasting your eyes on our fabulously designed decor and filling your stomachs with warm okonomiyaki right off our hot teppan!

Gooood Morning Los Angeles! We know it's a bit dreary on the first raining day of 2018, but the CCK team wanted to reach out to say that YES, our Little Tokyo location is still going to open! However, as you may have guessed, we are having a bit of a failure to launch. Our Little Tokyo location is just about ready to go, but we're currently waiting on a few more details to clear up before we open the flood gates for the masses to fill their bellies with Hiroshima Okonomiyaki (yum!) and Tanota Takoyaki (double yum!).
We hope that, like the rain, you can be patient in waiting for us to get the final kinks ironed out before charging up the grill for everyone. Because, as we all know here in LA, the sun is coming and rain is only temporary!
So stay warm, drive safe, and keep your thoughts of warm okonomiyaki on your gril...er, mind! We promise it won't be long until we're slinging you our signature Chinchikurinyaki with a side of takoyaki on one of our cool new teppan warming tables in Little Tokyo!

Ok...so we don't mean to put a damper on things like this drizzle on the South Bay, but we've got ourselves a slight situation of failure to launch. Our new Little Tokyo joint is just about ready to go, but we've got a few more finishing touches! We see most of you peering into our super clean windows from time to time but we know our doors are still closed! We're looking for a mid to late Nov opening, so we thank everyone for your patience while we get our new snazzy place up to par (We've got some new warming tables that're pretty "hot"....!).
In the meantime, a shout out to our Boys in Blue for playing one helluva series....and props to Houston for representin in our house. Respect. But spring training is just around the corner, so don't get too comfy with that trophy.......=P

With the NBA Finals in full effect, Golden State has now taken the series lead 1-0 against the Cleveland Cavs! Call in a to-go order of okonomiyaki so you can watch game 2 at home while enjoying some succulently meaty (or seafood-y) okonomiyaki!

America sure packs in the basketball season in back to back months, eh? From March Madness and the NBA Playoffs in back to back months, it seems like there's no time to breath in between the both of them. But luckily we have our Tsukemen dish that's great for taking to-go since your noodles and vegetables don't get soggy in transit back home. That way they'll be perfect to enjoy while you watch the Clippers take on the Jazz! (Or whoever else you're rooting for!)

Holy smokes everyone! Sorry for the seemingly eternal hiatus from posting! March was just an unbelievable month...from the World Baseball Classic (Japan lost to the US in the semi-finals!) to this strange March Madness (Props to the Tarheels for their hard earned win) phenomena, we've been learning a lot about American culture. As we sit and ponder over a bowl of our mouth numbing Tan Tan Men, we can't wait to see what April brings....(besides taxes)...

Does anyone else feel as though there's a love/hate relationship with rain? Come ponder this thought with friends or whatever else that seems to loom over your mind (like one of those storm clouds this past Friday) with our mucho delicioso Loaded Kaisen! Topped with squid, shrimp, and of course, green onions, it's a seafood lover's dream dish!

SoCal is now in the midst of the calm before the next storm....so why not enjoy it with our Hiroshima hometown favorite, The Hiroshima okonomiyaki dish? With the standard okonomiyaki recipe, it's mixed in with "ikaten" which is basically small slices of flattened squid that's deep fried. When it's cooked with the other layers, the flavor permeates through all the layers making the overall dish to die for!

Speaking of player records, one of our MVP players is our GOAM dish! This puppy is our base okonomiyaki loaded with green onions and Japanese mayo, then torched to perfection!

As the days get warmer....the nights are still a bit chilly, no?
Well get yourself warm and toasty by pulling yourself up to the counter at Chinchikurin and order yourself a Chinchikurinyaki! This tasty concoction has a delicious meat filling that'll fill your tummy like the recent rains have filled California's reservoirs!!! ....hmmm....maybe that wasn't the best analogy since they're not maxed out, yet....=p

The rain is finally gone! But the cold nights are still hanging around like that lost puppy you encountered on your way home that one afternoon back in elementary school....so why not get warm and toasty by pulling up a chair at the counter, right in front of our huge teppan grill and order up one of our notoriously tasty (and gooey) B+C okonomiyaki?
