Last full rehearsal before making the trek to Sparks for Region 12 competition is tonight. We've got 1 more Friends & Family performance next week and then we'll hit the road.
Those of us making the drive are crossing fingers, lighting candles, thinking happy sunny thoughts that it doesn't snow across Donner Pass and beyond. That is NOT a fun road to drive in the snow.

***UPDATE*** Well, hush my mouth and call me a biscuit. The chorus decided last night was NOT our last rehearsal of the year so next week we'll be digging deep in our ballad before we say 'so long' to 2023. The chorus has spoken!

OMG OMG! Did you guys know this??? Why didn't anyone TELL me?
Listening to an Anna Lapwood video and right at the really good bit appears "You know the drill, turn the sound on your phone all the way up, then hold the phone horizontal under your chin (screen facing up)." "I'm like, what? What's THAT supposed to do?".
Well, it means you hear glorious, high fidelity sound and at a great volume that doesn't sound like a rinky d**k phone at all. Try it. HOLY CRAP!!!
