“My husband’s reunion of his Vietnam brothers in Louisville, KY was almost ruined when I broke my ankle right before we were supposed to go. I was unable to fly so my 12 year old granddaughter took my place to help her disabled grandpa. I called our event planner to see if he knew anyone who could transport my husband and granddaughter while they were there. The hotel recommended Skip Grimes and I immediately contacted him. I explained our situation, noting my husband doesn’t drive anymore, gave him our agenda while there in Louisville, and asked if he could get my family to and from the hotel prior to and following each planned event as we had booked an alternate place to stay. He assured us he could and he was there waiting every time he was scheduled. He regaled my family with great stories about the various places they passed driving to and from the hotel and provided fascinating history about Louisville and the surrounding areas. He went above and beyond by emailing me regularly to let me know they were safely at their various destinations and how my husband was doing after each activity. It was as if we had a family member or close friend transporting my family and his attentiveness was sincerely appreciated. My husband added several trips to our schedule with Skip and his flexibility and recommendations for places to eat and places to see were invaluable. Several people from the reunion were so impressed with him, they hired him for their free days, too. Skip is awesome, considerate and personable, reasonably priced and very flexible. I highly recommend him if you’re needing transportation in and around Louisville. He’s the best and so worth the peace of mind and reliability he provides.
