Just went and checked the Refrigerant levels on these two outdoor condensers we installed 3-4 years ago, and just like all our others they are doing great!! (Other than the ground sinking and making them off level, but we fixed that)

Here’s a peek at the second mini storage that we have taken on here at Thomas HVAC Services. And this one has been a lot smoother of a ride so far, but we ain’t finished quite yet, still have some mini split systems to install once the building is completely secured and under lock and key. But I’ll post pictures tomorrow of the job we are doing until they are ready for us to finish up at the mini storage.

We are almost to this point on the current mini storage project we are doing.

Well sorry I haven’t been posting much for my future customers to see here lately. I’ve been super tied up in getting this mini storage complete, this is the second one that my company has done. We are looking forward to getting this wrapped up so we can start getting our new customers we have lined up their new systems installed and completely satisfied.

This was a furnace we replaced last week, going to start posting my work again, I have a few more jobs we have already finished, just haven’t got around to it. But here’s one of the latest change-outs we have accomplished 👍

I must say this was a first for me, got a call cause someone didn’t have A/C and I get there and there’s water everywhere so obviously I know it’s a drainage issue. And when I first seen the knot of about 20-30 grocery bags wrapped around the pipe I thought “hmm dang that’s a first” but when I seen the dirty old sock tied around another spot, that was it for me 😂😂😂 I just busted out laughing. So I finally gained my composure and apologized to the homeowner for laughing at there DIY fix. But of course they say what every home owner says, “it was like that when I moved in” 🤷‍♂️
But anyhow, after I used a whole tank of nitrogen to blow all the nasty gunk and dog hair out of the lines, I got them back running smooth again. Actually turned out to be some good people.

We will have to finish this one today, it’s my uncles house so it was okay to get just enough done for the tenants to have A/C for the day, but I’ll update everyone when the inside is completely finished!!

Here's the outdoor job from yesterday's job, I'll post the in door pictures of the air handler AND water heater that we installed..

This was on the 29th and I didn't get no finished pictures because it started POURING rain on us.. and I volunteered to do the last 15 minutes of wiring work on the unit in the pouring rain.. but hey, the job got done and the home owners got the second story of their house back down to comfortable temperature..

This was a really sad day for myself as well as my co workers, our FIRST warranted compressor in 8 years of buying and installing Amana condensers, but instead of changing the compressor we just decided to pay the difference and go ahead and get them a whole new condenser. Because we don't just say we offer 1 year labor and parts warranty, and 10 year parts warranty. We really do stand behind our words. We hope this never happens again though. Have ba good night people. The date was June 24th on a Tuesday for this one..

This was on June 17th, had to climb 3 flights of steps and go up a old wobbly ladder just to give the condenser a little juice, it was a little low on gas, but it was definitely a different kind of call than we normally get, just thought I'd show you guys this

Finished photos of the out door work from last week's post, I've been slacking on taking pictures of our work because we have been oh so busy .. I'm gonna start making it a point to get back to making it a priority to take pictures, but more post to come.

This was about 3 hours ago, we are doing one out here in taylorsville, I'll post the master piece finished product when we are done!

Yesterday I got a call from a guy and was told the fuse kept blowing on his furnace, and I assumed it was a low voltage issue, and thought it would be easy to find the problem.....
Well, once I FINALLY GOT THERE, After driving over a hour, I realized the problem was the transformer that the home owner "replaced" while his buddy gave him instructions on how to over the phone. I searched in the crawler for the old transformer and FINALLY FOUND IT! well to sum it all up, I wired it back the way it would have been from the factory..... Anddddd of course I flipped the breaker back on annddddddd she started purring like a kitty.

Moral of the story, call a licensed professional (like myself) and don't go trying to be a jack of all trades.
But the people are soooo welcoming out there and had great hospitality, by far one of the best service calls I've gotten in a while..
Definitely going to take him up on his offer to come back out there sometime.

This was a difficult one that took a few days to finish because the customer tore the old stuff out before I even seen the job. But the finished product looks good at the end of the day 👍

Yesterday was a pretty good day I must say, as far as work goes, just had one rather easy service call from a customer. The problem was pretty obvious from the start, the fan motor was locked up. Unit was so old that I couldn’t find the exact part, so I just ended up going with a universal one. And it’s purring like a kitty now of course 🐱😂 anyways, another satisfied customer ✅
