Artistic Kitchens is looking for an experienced finisher who is skilled at high quality custom finish work, understands catalytic finishes, capable of producing glazing’s, distressing, color matching, repair work, etc. Candidate must be production-minded and able to meet deadlines and production goals. The candidate chosen for this position will also act as the Finish Room Supervisor. This role will include the supervision of other finishers, finishing assistants, and the sanding department. The Finish Supervisor role also must maintain safety practices with keeping and discarding of hazardous materials.

At Artistic Kitchens we currently operate on a 4-day week, Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm. Some special or extreme circumstances may warrant the need for overtime work, but it is always communicated by management in advance, and is compensated at an overtime rate. This position also holds the potential for paid time off, vacation time, and paid holidays once the employee has reached those milestones in the company for eligibility.

Pay for this position is based on experience.

Artistic Kitchens is looking to grow its building team, and we are currently in need of someone who has general knowledge of woodworking or furniture building and is wanting to Segway into the field of luxury custom cabinetry. If selected for this position you would be working directly under our Lead Builder, who is a local artisan whose craftsmanship is years in the making. Under them you would start by learning the basics, and then moving up into building independently on your own under direct supervision. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build and formulate a craft, be able to learn a trade like this from someone with well over thirty years of experience.

Artistic Kitchens serves as Louisville Kentucky’s Premiere Custom Kitchen Design Center. Our focus is to create spaces in which people can gather and enjoy spending time together. Artistic Kitchens specializes in Custom Kitchen Design, but also works in Custom Bathrooms, Wet Bars, Butler’s Pantries, etc.
At Artistic Kitchens we are looking to expand our team further to increase with our growing demand. We are looking for a highly motivated person to help us craft custom cabinets that are specific to each job that we serve. As a cabinetmaker at Artistic Kitchens you would be responsible for communicating between our draftsman to execute a finished job, working alongside our team of other builders, finishers, and installers.
Our Manufacturing schedule is the same for everyone and is as followed.
Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm, with one thirty-minute lunch and two fifteen-minute breaks. Overtime is available on conditional approval.
