Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

Matthew 10:38.

Eternal life is a gift freely given by God to all who desire to receive it. However, discipleship, which involves following and imitating Jesus as a committed and devoted follower, does come with a cost. It requires significant dedication, time, and effort to fully engage in discipleship.

Thankfully, you don't have to undertake this journey alone. Join us this Sunday as we walk this path together. We will encounter good times, victories, obstacles, and setbacks. But no matter what lies ahead, we can overcome it all by supporting each other.

The Asbury University Revival. What does it mean? Are we in the midst of a great historic outpouring of the Holy Spirit that we have read about in the past and Christians pray for today? One of those events when unusual numbers of people come to Christ, and many Christians are renewed and transformed. Could it be... maybe something else?
I believe God does sporadic revivals for various reasons. Large outpourings of the Holy Spirit and revivals often have taken place at times when the Church has lost its enthusiastic faith and power. In past revivals, when the Church becomes ineffective at reaching the world, God has stepped up and does something that wakes people up and grabs their attention.
Why?
For the LORD your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The LORD your God did to the Jordan what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. 24 HE DID THS SO THAT ALL THE PEOPLES OF THE EARTH MIGHT KNOW THE HAND OF THE LORD IS POWERFUL AND SO THAT YOU MIGHT ALWAYS FEAR THE LORD YOUR GOD.
I hope you will join me at church tomorrow as we take a look at revival.
The New International Version (2011). Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan, Jos 4:24.
