A bluebirds first attempt at flying 💙
The first one out, fly up on the corner of my house then up to a tree. This was the second one that came out, he sat over in my flower garden trying to fly for a while. Him and the others eventually made it up to a tree. They had to practice first though

Was getting some good snaps of the bluebirds feeding their fledglings, then... they started to leave their house!

Female Red-winged Black Bird, caught it just at the right time!

This is a pair of Carolina wrens. Got the opportunity to watch them feeding their young. They were just in and out with spiders all day. A starling came and landed in their favorite tree. This will not fly they said! Both the adults came in dashing and yelling at it haha they scared it off and got back to catching spiders for their brood.

A field of dames rocket, originally cultivated for its early spring blooms that come in numbers, considered invasive now because it neutralizes native plants. Did read that young leaves are high in vitamin C and can be eaten in salads.

Welcome to turtle week! Been getting some good snaps of the snappers and painted turtles.
Here's a snapper I watch climb up on a log, he looks so happy to of gotten up there.

"Is this a safe place to chill?" "He'll never see me coming!"

The closest Blue Heron snap I've gotten so far

Female red winged black bird. Was hoping around on the lily pads, flipping them up and grabbing bugs.

A couple nice snaps I got of a common grackle

Male wood duck cruising around the marsh

Went up to Cuyahoga national park and got some nice snaps of a mama wood duck and her ducklings

Best eagle snap I've gotten so far! Pretty excited about it!
