Job description

Identity customs is looking for a Screen Printer to add to our team. We are a creative, full service printing shop in the Highlands, established in 2006. We are known for printing all size orders, specializing in understanding our customers visions. We print for several well known clothing brands, businesses, restaurants and schools.

Applicants must have experience with all screen printing processes. You should be self-motivated with attention to detail, and some organizational skills. If you would like a position in a creative, progressive-minded work environment please email or call us directly.

Screen Printer Position Duties:

-Primarily operate our 6 color manual printing press to produce high quality, multiple color screen printed textiles; using registration techniques; regular maintenance of machines.

-Coat screens, burn screens, clean and reclaim screens.

-Sort, pull and check jobs.

-Communicate with team to determine best printing techniques..

-Ensure the safe use of equipment and perform regular maintenance on presses, and other shop equipment.

-Familiarity with various different fabrics, garments, screen printing inks preferred

-Ability to stand and work for long periods

-Ability to multitask and work on multiple aspects of the printing process simultaneously to maximize efficiency.

Job Type: Part time or Full time
(pay based on experience/productivity)

Experience:

Must have screen printing experience printing garments with plastisol inks in a professional shop.

William Phillips Here for the stickers

Stop by new shop in the Highlands at 2002 Highland Ave. They have some really nice merch (pictured on the right) printed by us here at Identity. We were also commissioned to paint the mural in the background. DesignerFlow asked us to put our spin on his concept of using the logo in the likeness of Jesus, beard, crown and all. This was painted with Ironlak - available in shop at for $7 each. If you have never used , it is really amazing how little this stuff smells, even indoors. Unlike other acrylic, water-based, or low oder sprays, this stuff behaves and has the control of standard spray paint. Give it a try.
