Last weekend, 3 of Concordia's high school youth met up with other student leaders from around the Indiana District at the YouthLead retreat! They learned about how they can use the gifts and experiences God has given them to serve their peers and neighbors, and they set goals for Concordia's youth group this school year. They also enjoyed plenty of games and fruit snacks! We're excited to see how they use their leadership skills in our congregation for God's glory!

Concordia's high school youth are having a blast serving our neighbors in northern Indiana! We're spending the week at Camp Lutherhaven in Albion, IN where we get to lead a day camp for kids from the local Burmese refugee community. We're each paired with a buddy who we get to know as we play games and enjoy activities together. They love swim time most of all! We end the afternoon with songs and a Bible story to remind our campers, many of whom come from a Buddhist background, of Jesus' love for them. In the evenings we get to hang out with the other volunteers, study God's Word, and have our own fun at camp. Please pray that we stay healthy and safe for the rest of the week, that we share God's love with our campers, and that we make it home safely on Friday.

Concordia takes on Holiday World! Last week, our middle and high school youth, along with several parents and siblings, enjoyed an exciting day of rides, rollercoasters, and waterslides! 39 students and several adults from Concordia and Faith Lutheran had a stellar week at VBS! We followed the adventures of astronaut Mickey Wey, we created cool crafts and played fun games, and we did awesome science experiments. Most importantly, we learned that Jesus shines as the light!
