Got plans Friday night? ⚽️ Come out to the McNeely South Soccer Fields at 7pm to show your support for the Okolona Legends U14 team as they take on Marion County under the lights! Bring a chair, wear some purple, and support these kids from your community!

Big thank you to all of our wonderful parent volunteers who continue to help out with the fields and more at the Club! Thank you for giving back to the community and helping us help the kids!

Please help and please share! Our U8 coach has decided at the last minute that they aren’t willing to coach, leaving our 6 and 7 year olds without a coach. If anyone is willing to step up and coach these awesome kids, please let us know. It’s such a fun age group to coach, as they are eager to learn and have a better attention span. We have some coaching resources available and experienced coaches that can help if you need it. Please help these kiddos—our club is all volunteer from our coaches to our president, so if you have the desire to give back to the community and like soccer, please consider helping.

Coaches Meeting tonight at the clubhouse at 6pm! All coaches and anyone interested in helping out are welcome to attend! We’ll chat about responsibilities and there will be experienced coaches to connect with to help you! We hope to see you there!

Please share! We need your help! Our U12 team needs a volunteer coach. We were unable to secure a coach and without one, we can not have our team! If you have a 10-11 year old playing with us or know someone who would be willing to coach from now through October, please let us know. As coach, you would need to be available to practice two weekday evenings (of your choice) per week. No soccer or coaching experience is necessary, as we have experienced coaches that can help prepare you. This is a minor time commitment but the rewards can be great. ⚽️

Come out to the soccer fields tonight from 5-8pm to register one last time before the fees increase. Being a ball and do some drills and kick the ball around with us! See you then!

See you all tomorrow! Bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate, registration fee, and we have the forms! Feel free to bring a ball to kick around with us on the U12 field!

Do you have everything your child needs for fall season? Your little athlete will receive a uniform but they’ll also need your help buying shin guards, soccer cleats, and a ball that’s the right size! (Check our website for more information on ball sizes!)

Now is the perfect time to do soccer shopping while there are plenty of options in stock! Stores like Target and Meijer have some options, and of course sporting goods stores will have everything! Academy and Dick’s Sporting Goods are popular options—and be sure to check into bundles (Dick’s) to get discounts if you’re buying all three items at once!

The weather kept many of you from getting registered today so we are hosting one final in-person registration event on Tuesday, July 18 from 5-8PM BEFORE THE FEES INCREASE. We are waiving late fees through July 18, so make sure you register with us during the event (bring a copy of their birth certificate) or go ahead and register online at https://okolonasoccerclub.demosphere-secure.com/_registration .
Have your kids bring a ball if they have one and spend some time on the field with us while you're there!
