We had a great morning with the Heritage Herb Society. We enjoyed sharing about our Greenhouse herbs and EVOOS & Balsamic Vinegars. We enjoy having groups out!! If you are interested please give us a call. Here are the recipes we used:
Blood Orange and Dark Chocolate Rolls
3 cups Raised A Donut Mix
1 cup water (110 degrees)
1 Tablespoon yeast
2 Tablespoons + 1 teaspoon Blood Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 pound Peter's Dark Melting Chocolate
Mix water and yeast, allow to sit 5 minutes. Add to Raised A mix, add Blood Orange Olive Oil. Mix until smooth. Cover and let rise in warm place 45 minutes. Punch down, roll out and cut into strips. Butter each strip. Place dark chocolate melting disks along 1 strip then layer strips and chocolate ending with dough strip on top.** Save some chocolate for melting** Let rise 45 minutes covered. Bake 350 degrees 20 - 30 minutes. Lightly browned. Melt additional chocolate and stir in 1 teaspoon Blood Orange EVOO, drizzle over top.
