Otto's Wine Club's August theme is MaryTaylorWine! Mary Taylor is our kind of wine importer. As a believer in wines with a sense of place, or "place name," aka "appellation," she is truly an ambassador of European wines that are representative of their area. This means wines that are made from grapes that historically do fantastically well in specific areas, made in a way that is not overly manipulative, by true farmers/winemakers. We have carried several of Mary's "White Label" wines for a couple of years now but decided to up the ante and dedicate this month's OWC almost entirely to her wines.
