Old School Woodworkin

I would like to share with my followers , friends and customers a major change at Old School Woodworkin . I have left my studio at Western Avenue Studios after a ten year presence in the building and community. My woodshop has always been at my home and my studio was primarily used to display , and sell my woodworking and furniture . It was also a wonderful way to meet people who enjoyed my work and at times make custom , commissioned pieces as well. Will miss the interactions I had with the people who came into my studio. Great friendships.
My Old School Woodworkin will maintain the website and presence on Facebook . Contact information w / phone #'s , email address and such is still all working . My residence is only a short distance away ( 12 miles ) in Dunstable , Ma . Thanks to all my customers and visitors over the last ten years.

Another custom piece completed. Solid cherry Shaker style bedside table with drawer and lower shelf.
All mortise and tenon construction , dovetail drawer and durable polyurethane finish in natural cherry . Customer could not find a tall with small footprint side table with drawer and shelf of high quality. Contacted me .

Heirloom quality Shaker style black walnut and maple chess table . This is a piece I really hate to let go. All mortise and tenon construction , solid wood with clear polyurethane finish for years of use.

Black Walnut and white maple . A band of Padauk outling the chess board for great accent. Top is hinged with storage inside.Awaiting final glue up and finishing.

Made up a new cutting board for our home out of a rare piece of American Elm. Has some pretty natural color in the heartwood . As a child these monster trees grew everywhere and the Dutch Elm disease came and wiped out most of these once common beautiful hardwoods.
