Come join us Labor Day weekend to celebrate Our Lady of Loreto Feast!!! We will have lots of great traditional Portuguese food (Favas,Feijao,Figado,Bifanas,Bacalhao Sandwiches,Sardinhas, Carne de Espeto, Malassadas), excellent entertainment and an awesome car show!!! On Sunday we begin our celebration with mass and procession at 10:30am at St Anthony’s church and the festivities continue at The Holy Ghost!!!! All profits from the feast are for Saint Anthony's Church!!

The members of the society would like to thank the members of the community; local Portuguese organizations and The Banda do Espirito Santo for joining us in the Pentecost celebration yesterday. We were blessed to celebrate a beautiful mass, procession and enjoyed a delicious traditional Pentecost meal among family and friends.
To our volunteers, we can never thank you enough for all the hard work and countless hours you stood and always stand side by side with us to get everything done. From setting up our beautiful alter, praying the rosary every night and all the prepping, cooking, and serving you all did, we are eternally grateful from the bottom of our hearts.

The Holy Ghost Society of Lowell, is asking our community for donations for our annual scholarship fund and our Pentecost dinner on Sunday May 19, 2024. Pentecost Update:
Membership payments have been extended and must be received by May 11, 2024 and can be paid at Valentina’s & Silva’s Markets, via Venmo or mailed to the Holy Ghost Society .

Sunday May 5, 2024. 4 – 6pm You may pick up your tickets for the Pentecost Dinner. We will have tickets for indoor and outdoor seating. We will also have pick up tickets for any elderly or sick that can not join us for the dinner and wish to bring it home. We ask that you please bring a pot or bowl with you to bring your food home.

Saturday May 11, 2024. Pezzinho will be at 2pm at Holy Ghost.

Sunday May 12th, we will pray the rosary at 5pm at Holy Ghost due to mass at St. Anthony’s at 7:00pm.

Monday May 13th, through Friday May 17th, we will pray the rosary at 7:00pm

Saturday May 18th, we will pray the rosary at 5pm

Sunday May 19th, Pentecost Sunday Mass at 10am followed by the procession. All organizations are welcome to join us at 8:45 at the Blues club.

Sunday May 19th, please pick up your soups at the time given to you when you picked up your tickets.

Domingo, 5 de Maio de 2024. das 4 - 6pm Podem levantar os vossos bilhetes para o jantar de Pentecostes. Teremos bilhetes para lugares no interior e no exterior. Também teremos bilhetes para qualquer idoso ou doente que não possa se juntar a nós para o jantar e deseje levá-lo para casa. Pedimos-lhe que traga uma panela ou tigela para levar a comida para casa.

Sábado, 11 de Maio de 2024. O Pezzinho será às 2 horas na Sociedade do Divino Espírito Santo.

Domingo, 12 de Maio, rezaremos o terço às 5pm horas na Sociedade do Divino Espírito Santo porque à missa na igreja de Santo António às 7 horas .

De Segunda-Feira, 13 de Maio, a Sexta-Feira, 17 de Maio, rezaremos o terço às 7 horas da noite.

Sábado, 18 de Maio, reza-se o terço às 5 horas da tarde.

Domingo, 19 de Maio, Missa do Domingo de Pentecostes às 10 horas na igreja de Santo Antonio e depois a procissão. Todas as organizações são bem-vindas para se juntarem a nós às 8:45 no clube dos Azues.

Domingo, 19 de Maio, os membros que levantaram bilhetes para levar sopa para casa devem vir ao Holy Ghost com as suas panelas ou tigelas à hora marcada quando levantaram os bilhetes.

Good morning everyone!! We would like to thank everyone who placed orders for our drive up yesterday, thanks to all your support it was another huge success! And as always to all our volunteers thank you for always being willing to roll up your sleeves it’s greatly appreciated!!!! Thank you everyone and we hope you enjoyed it!!!

Due to the number of orders we have been receiving for Saturday we have extended the deadline for orders until 8 PM tonight, Friday, March 1. Thank you again for the ongoing support we appreciate it and are extremely grateful so please call, text or message us if you would like to place an order!!!

The Holy Ghost Society would like to thank all the dances that performed this weekend. Thank you for doing such an amazing job, keeping our traditions and culture alive… The dances were amazing!! A special thank you to all who watched the dances at Holy Ghost, thanks to you we had a full house and are thankful for your presence and your ongoing support. To all who donated, and volunteered including the directors and their families, without you our success would not be possible, thank you for the countless hours you dedicated into making this weekend a great success.. You are all greatly appreciated!!!!
