Unfortunately Clemente Park Committee was unable to participate in the water festival this year but we wanted to take the time to wish all the boat teams a great race.
Please note there are no scheduled events at Clemente Park on Saturday so please have a great time at the Lowell Southeast Asian Water Festival!

Congratulations to Na Lam of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lowell! She is the recipient of Clemente Park Committee’s Community Recognition Award 🥇 Thank you Na for supporting and fostering our youth’s community engagement at the Lowell Khmer New Year at Clemente Park year after year 👏
Na Lam holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from UMass Lowell. She joined the Club team in October 2012, and previously served as the Technology Coordinator and Makerspace Lead before moving into her current role as the Teen Pathways Manager. In this role, Na is responsible for establishing Pathway program objectives that are consistent with the organization’s goals and mission, overseeing the provision of day-to-day program activities, and ensuring that all members are participating in a variety of activities that help them to develop skills.
Before coming to the Boys & Girls Club, Na interned at 119 Gallery as a Gallery Assistant, and at the Revolving Museum working with middle school age children as an Arts and Craft Coordinator and Gallery Assistant. At the Boys and Girls Club she offers different programs involving technology, including STEAM Programs, First Lego League Robotics, Fashion Design, and Crafty Girls.

The Middlesex Community College Program for Asian American Student Advancement is back again this year with their popular fishing game!
Play the fishing game and get a prize. This fun game is meant to highlight the abundance of different species of fish in the Mekong and Merrimack river, and the importance of protecting and preserving those rivers which provides life to the people of that area.

Candy Team- Sokhom Chun & Benjamin Adriano
Sokhom Chun is a Lowell Commercial Lender at Enterprise Bank. She is also a Public Matters participant and a Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lowell. She loves going to the Khmer New Year Celebration at Clemente Park because of the sense of community it brings to all. Her son, Benjamin, loves helping out with putting all the candy together. He likes making new friends at Khmer New Year. His favorite color are rainbow colors and he loves to eat sushi.
They hope to see you all on Saturday!
