Come check our newest addition for dogs to play on at the Lowell Dog Park. The project was spearheaded by Nicholas Lothian an Eagle scout, along with help from his scout troop 102.

A few pic's of the new weather shelter at the Lowell Dog Park.

Yah, We now have a weather shelter for small dogs and their owners at our Dog Park .This is a project that we have been pursuing for years and finally we're able to achieve with the generosity of the Lowell Cable TV foundation that granted us the funds, Impact church who always includes us in their "Love Week" project and Todd from Advanced Homes of West Michigan. This project has had a immediate impact for those who visit the LDP and will continue to be a benefit for many decades.
On behalf of those who enjoy spending time at the LDP and the Dog Park committee Thank you to all who had a part in this project.

The small Dog Park area will be closed starting the afternoon of Wednesday June 21st until the completion of the weather shelter project.

If the water is turned on we need to restart the testing.
Please do not take the sign down , I will take it down when it is safe to use.

Lowell Dog Park updated their address.

Please make sure you are watching your dog and cleaning up after them.
There is an usual amount of dog waste being left behind.
It is everyone's job to take care of the Dog park. We are a volunteer run park and depend on park users to have a "Sense of ownership" Wag more bark less.

Thank you to Troop 4781, Shore to Shore from Forest Hills for their generosity and hard work. The Lowell Dog Park now has a climbing ramp in both the large and small park for our dogs to play on.

The water at the Dog Park is scheduled to be turned on Thursday May 21st.
As the DP gets busier in the spring and summer please remember that we are a donation funded and volunteer ran park.
We like to use the term " Sense of ownership"
With our park users.
If you see something that needs to be taken care of, for instance Bag dispensers need refilled , Concrete needs to be swept, flowers need watering etc, please take it upon yourself to refill , cleanup or water.
When the lawn maintenance crew is mowing please keep your dog at a safe distance for everyone's safety.
If you feel moved to contribute to the expenses of the DP lights, water, and mowing we have a donation pipe located under the weather shelter or you can mail a donation to Lowell Dog Park 301 E Main st , Lowell Mich 49331.
