A lot of these salon products are diversion products sold on the black market and are tainted products and may not be what you are paying for. Bottles may have improper markings and words may be spelled incorrectly on them. Prices are only $2 cheaper than the salon price so protect your investment in products and hair and most importantly your wallet.😊❤️

What do you think when you hear haircolor is "ammonia-free"? Do you think that the color is cleaner and more health-conscious? Well, it's actually a major sales pitch. But why? 🤔 There are many misconceptions about ammonia. Yes, ammonia has a noticeable odor (which could be why there is an assumption that it's bad). But guess what? Ammonia is the 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵 and most 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆-𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 catalyst used in a permanent haircolor system. All permanent haircolor needs a driver. If not ammonia, the most common substitute is a synthetic chemical made of alcohol and amine, like EA or MEA. These synthetic alternatives have scents that are easy to mask and require copious amounts to make a coloring system work. Because of this, it is more common for clients to react with sensitivities. Ammonia works in much smaller doses (provided the pigment system is high-end 😉). And it immediately converts to a gas - quickly dissipating leaving nothing left behind. Synthetic alternatives, however, can leave behind residual chemicals that stay in the hair. But you would never know because the scent is masked. 😬 Don’t fall victim to marketing schemes that prey on the lack of knowledge! We have your back! 🌱💚
