Update: one of our customers saw our post this morning and when they went out to feed their horses saw that our truck was dumped in their field. We are very thankful that nothing at all was stolen. Thank you so much for sharing and getting our work truck back home. We missed a job today, but will be able to get back to work soon now that all of our tools are safe and sound.

We need everyone's help! Last night our livelihood was stolen from in front of our home. Jeff's truck and $10,000 in tools were stolen at 3 a.m. He has been doing construction and handyman work for almost 20 years to provide for our large family of 19 people. The truck is one of a kind, and even though the Wolfforth Farmers Market decals are not on it anymore you can still see an outline of the decals. Please let us know if you see it anywhere in town or if you have any information on this theft. His job in construction and handyman work is how we support our family, and how we still pay to keep the market going every week.

Due to a family situation, we will not be able to be at the market this Saturday. I’m so sorry we will not get to say our final goodbyes. We’ve loved serving you! Midnight Marshmallows is closing its doors. I’m sorry that is abrupt, but I need to make sure you keep reading.

Yes, we truly are closing down. I have loved being your “marshmallow lady”. How could I ever express just how much that has meant to me? When I started this business I could not have predicted being where we are today. Watching it grow and thrive has been like watching a miracle unfold.

Earlier this week I was discussing our next growth step and how we were going to get there, but God has other plans. I have been called elsewhere, and it is a calling I cannot ignore. This decision comes with prayer, and although I am sad to leave all I’ve built here behind, I feel at peace. I feel a certainty and clarity that so rarely accompanies life’s choices.

I will miss seeing you at the market each week. I will miss my vendor family. I am grateful for all you have done to support us. You have blessed our family over and over.

Our last market will be Jan 29 at the Wolfforth Farmer’s Market, and to show our love and gratitude, we won’t be selling anything. Each person who stops by our booth will get a free pack of marshmallows until they’re gone. Thank you for making the last 2 years wonderful.

We’re starting off the new year with a new flavor, Toasted Coconut! You can get your marshmallows at two locations this week. We’ll be at the First Friday Art Trail on Friday night and the Wolfforth Farmer’s Market Saturday morning! If you can’t make out to either event, you can pre-order, and arrange for pickup in Lubbock. See you soon!

We have such a fun Christmas Market planned for this Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We will have Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, Christmas crafts for the kiddos, over 100 local vendors, food/drink vendors, farm animals, food trucks, and more. Santa & Mrs. Claus will be at the market from 11-1 and we will post on Saturday morning where they will be located at the market.

The lighting isn’t great, but we had to share how the mini bundt mug toppers look when they melt in cocoa! So pretty! They taste even better. 😋

We’re not saying Churro Marshmallows are better than the original. You might, though.

I’ve decided to take preorders for hot cocoa bombs! If you want some for Christmas, get your order in before we’re booked up!

You can choose Candy Cane or Unicorn marshmallows.

We learned that it’s not a good idea to decorate our marshmallows with candy cane pieces! Unless you’re wanting a melty, sticky mess. Then, candy cane pieces are ideal! Our marshmallows are so moist and fresh they sometimes share with their neighbors! The little Mallow Team is thrilled! They each got mug toppers on hot cocoa tonight:) We’ll go with sprinkles next time.

I’m finally building our Instagram account. I’ve been dreading it, because technology is my weakness. I have to admit, once I started getting into it, it’s actually been fun! I’m still figuring it out, but it’s not been the chore I was afraid it would be. This morning I logged on to check on engagement, and I saw there were several new likes and comments. I was like, “Wow, people really liked that picture I posted last night! I even got a new follower!” When I clicked on the notifications they were all my husband. 😂 He hasn’t been on Instagram in years, but he logged on last night and liked everything! 😆 I love that he’s so supportive. He got back on Instagram just to like my posts. ❤️
