Yesterday we partnered with TWT Property Management Services LLC to remove a storm damaged tree during windstorm. The tree had been partially uprooted and was leaning more with each gust of wind. Here are some pictures of how far the tree was leaning over (use the chimney for a vertical reference) and a picture of the root ball being lifted up. Through some great communication and teamwork, we got the entire tree on the ground with no damage to the property.

Now that our tree climber has returned from hurricane cleanup in Louisiana, we are trimming trees again. This is the best time of year to trim trees, so let us know if you need us to come take care of your trees.

I began working with trees as a volunteer for Texas Baptist Men disaster relief on a chainsaw team where we cleanup after natural disasters such as tornadoes, floods, and hurricanes across the United States. As I gained experience on the crew, I was asked by our crew leader to begin a training course for tree climbing and working out of a man lift. As a way to keep up practice in tree climbing and man lift work, my brother and I perform tree work around Lubbock in our spare time. I am currently working towards certifications from the Tree Care Industry Association.
