With the extra traffic coming to Roger's and the new splash pads residents are concerned about the trash piling up on Gary Ave. Can we get more park trash cans? We could also use some more benches and picnic tables for families that bring their kids.

Everything Lubbock reported that a newborn baby was found in a dumpster at 4:00 am last night. This is exactly why we have a safe haven baby box. For those that don't know, the box is located at 4814 50th at Firestation Number 9.

As a community we need to stop ignoring this kind of stuff and start reporting it. This needs to be addressed with either the apartment owners or with Lubbock Code enforcement. It won't change if we don't make an effort to change it.

The Tenements Apartments and Casa Orlando Apartments need to maintain their grounds a little better after tenants move out.
