If you have a ceramic coating on your vehicle, it's imperative that you take care of it...even more than if you have just a wax or a sealant. It's a common misconception that ceramic coatings don't have to be washed or otherwise taken care of. While ceramic coatings are ultra durable and can provide a lifetime of paint protection, they are susceptible to the same issues that your paints clearcoat is susceptible to (water spots, scratches, swirls, etc).

My car had not been washed in a little over a month while we were getting the studio ready. And even though my car is protected by a ceramic coat, you can clearly see the water spots that etched themselves into the coat. The only way to remove them is through a multi step paint correction that will strip off the old ceramic coating and remove the etching, and then to apply a new ceramic coat. This can be very costly for the consumer...especially after already spending upwards of $2500 on the original ceramic coating.
