All the donations received today will be going towards Momma Blizzard. Most of you probably remember her. She was found at an abandoned house outside of Slaton. She was very pregnant when we got her and had 9 gorgeous puppies shortly after being saved. Blizzard was a great momma and did well in her foster home. She went to Colorado with her puppies and has had a really hard time adjusting after her puppies were adopted. So Momma Blizzard is back here with us. After talking with her amazing foster, we decided to have her evaluated by Proven K9 Training Lubbock,Tx. They think she needs some major confidence building and needs to work on some manners. Blizzard gets anxious around other adult dogs and doesn’t know how to socialize. In order to prepare her for her best life - we are putting her in a 4 week board and train program. This will come with lifetime training and hands on refreshers as needed. This is not a cheap option but this is what she needs. Momma Blizzard deserves the best chance at being the best girl and finding the best forever home!

Oh Tiny Turner! This fella is sure to bring a smile to your face. He’s such a little toot! Turner goes in next week to be sedated for X-rays and to see if his headgear can be removed yet. Who needs a little happiness today?! Princess Buttercup is one of Clover’s puppies. She was adopted by a sweet family in Colorado. And guess what?! They went back and adopted Momma Clover today. This video is them seeing each other again for the first time!! Tears of joy!!! And THIS is our why ……
Meet Momma Muggy ❤️ Remember little man Moose who came from Amarillo as an orphan? Well, surprise! They found Moose’ mom and littermates. Wahoo! We have them all together and with a foster now. Muggy was very glad to see Moose and licked him all over. It was precious! Muggy will need some time to heal and recover. She has a shattered leg that is splinted. We will have it rechecked in a week to see if it’s healing. Prayers for this sweet momma!
Paisley, Parker & Pippi have a little more energy and have finally eaten something!!! They’re not out of the woods yet. Keep the good vibes and well wishes coming!!
7/28 UPDATE Buddy has been back at the vet for two days dealing with intense pain. The X-ray still shows the pins to be in place but something isn’t right. He is with a foster on strict crate rest for a couple of days and will be going back into surgery on Tuesday. They more than likely will have to put in a plate and pins. It’s going to cost roughly $500. Please help us get Buddy up and running again!!! I just dropped Turner off for his jaw surgery! He was full of energy this morning. We will update when we know anything!!
Update on the Slurpee Litter Their gums are PINK! They have energy but tucker out quick. They’re eating really well. They’ve had a couple of baths and hours of tick removal sessions. Their ears are very full of scabs but starting to heal. And they are the cuddliest puppies EVER!!!!
