So proud of our TKI students who participated in the Amarillo Karate Tournament. We had students participate in kata, point sparring and continuous sparring. Several of our students had to go up against students who were ranked higher than them and dominated. Great job representing TKI!!

Congratulations to our July Rank Exam participants. Great test last night and we appreciate all of your hard work and training. Keep up the hard work.

We wanted to show off our Kickboxer's skills from Saturday's workout. These fighters never cease to amaze us with their heart and determination.

That summer heat may be brutal but our fighters at TKI pack even a harder punch. We’re having a great summer and you should come join the fun before those summer days are gone.

Before, during and end product. Never had our parking lot looked this good…or level. Thank you Daley's Superior Asphalt Manufacturing, Inc. for the fantastic job. It was nice to have a company who was punctual and willing to help us out.

Texas Karate Institute is looking for recommendations on how to repair our parking lot.
Our parking lot is a disaster. We had it repaired back in September and the company gave us a 1 year warranty and told us they’d have to come back out to do some maintenance to keep it looking good. Well we can’t get them out to do the upkeep and now it is in terrible shape. After a good rain, it basically doubles as a small pond. A whole new parking lot is between $25-$30k.

Been a great few days at TKI. On Saturday, we had a going away party for a couple of our amazing students who are about to start a new journey in a new city. We will miss them.

Tonight, we had another great rank test and were very proud of all our testing candidates. Great with!!!

Last night, TKI was proud to host a seminar lead by Grandmaster Charles Bouton. He shared a lot of great martial arts knowledge and history of our style. Thank you for working with our kids and instructors.

Happy Memorial Day. Texas Karate Institute will be closed today in observance of the holiday. Regular classes will resume on Tuesday, May 28th.

Shane's Black Belt Test Black Belt Rank Exam - May 18, 2024Shane is testing for his Black Belt. William is being recognized with his 1st Dan stripe.

Today was a great day at TKI. We were able to recognize William for his 1st Dan stripe and test Shane for his black belt. Most people do not make it to this rank because of the challenges that come with the test. We sure don’t award belts just because you’ve been training for a certain amount of time, we make you earn that black belt. Great job to our candidates and a huge shout out to everyone who came out to show support.

What a great way to usher in the month of May. We had an amazing rank test this evening and we instructors at TKI are very proud of all of our students! More excitement to come this month.
