My favorite part about the program was getting to truly immerse myself within the culture of Costa Rica. We visited the most beautiful places and got to experience the “Pura Vida” lifestyle firsthand. Not only was the day to day experience memorable but I also got to enhance my professional experience as I worked with AGM Trader Broker & Advisor. I learned so much and I got to collaborate with my coworkers to help enhance our client’s understanding and experience!”

It’s been over 2 weeks since our Director, Whitney Longnecker, was able to participate in a site with and we are still excited about what there was to offer!

Between Spain and Portugal she visited 3 cities and 7 universities in 8 days - what a whirlwind! Special thanks to API for inviting to experience firsthand the outstanding support and opportunities provided to Red Raiders abroad.

Congratulations to one of our amazing faculty members, Martha Smithey, for receiving the Donald R. Haragan Study Abroad Award at the 2024 Global Vision Awards Reception last week!! Dr.Smithey has been taking Red Raiders abroad since 2013 and will be at .centersevilla this summer teaching Sociology and Criminology! Thank you for your support and thank you to Lanna and the TTU Center in Seville staff for your help building this amazing program.

One of the coolest, and most immersive programs that we offer at Texas Tech University is the TIDES program out of the TTU Waco campus. Students travel to Honduras and conduct marine based research alongside McLennan Community College faculty and students!
