StarCare’s partnership with LPD and the Lubbock County Detention Center aims to improve outcomes for people who find themselves in jail with a mental health disorder. One of the goals is to provide access to appropriate treatment in order to keep people out of jail and reintegrate them safely and successfully back into the community upon release.

Open Position: Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital Social Worker

⭐️ Qualifications ⭐️

• Must be a Licensed Social Worker (LBSW, LMSW, LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT).
• One year of full time experience working in the field of mental health, preferred.

We're excited to share that StarCare sent our Senior Executive Team to attend the 20th Annual West Texas Legislative Summit hosted by the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce and presented by Wellpoint. This event was a fantastic opportunity for us to gain a wealth of information and engage in meaningful collaboration.

The Summit was an invaluable experience, and we look forward to implementing new ideas and strategies to better serve our community.
