What better way to celebrate than by celebrating a program that's been serving families for 50 years! 🥳

ACCHD began its Angelina County WIC program in 1985, just eleven years after the national WIC program first started offering families crucial nutrition education, health support and access to healthy foods.

WIC now supports 50% of all infants born in the United States, and we are proud to serve the families of our own community. You can learn more about the history of WIC at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJRZALP256o.

And if you want to apply for WIC, click to https://texaswic.org/apply to get started or contact our partners at Texas WIC - Angelina County, (936) 637-7242.
