"Your fatherhood will outlive you and live inside your children forever." No father is perfect. We question and double guess our decisions as fathers constantly. The mistakes we make teach us and haunt us at the same time. It's one of the hardest and most important jobs in the world and as a man, it is your life's greatest work.
To all the fathers out there- Reach wishes you a very happy father's day.
Due to the flash flooding our Lufkin location will have a late opening tomorrow (Friday) at 12pm. This will give families time to better appraise the damages to the roads and/or their home. It will also allow more time for emergency services to clean up, restore utilities, and ensure the safety of our roads. Thank you for your understanding.

February 29, 2024 was leap year; and we hope that you had some extra fun, on our extra day of the year. Reach Behavioral Therapy, (RBT) doubled up on our fun, celebrating our February birthdays and honoring a Client, leaving RBT, to start the next leg of their journey. Our Passion
ABA is now in Deep East Texas! Many families have inquired about the services we provide. We provide ABA to children and young men and women with Autism. Eating, sleeping, toileting, sitting, learning, communicating, socializing, independent life skills, etc. If it affects a person’s behavior, we will work with them and your family to improve these skills and help them learn many, many more. We also work to decrease and in many cases, stop problematic behaviors such as refusing, self-abusing, property destruction, and aggression. Kiddos typically spend 30-40 hours per week at the clinic and have a technician working with them 1:1 the entire time. Treatment is very individualized around each person’s specific needs and levels of functioning. From the size of the room, specialized insulation in the walls, to what type of furniture, toys, and learning materials are in the room- we customize everything around your loved one’s needs. We have a proven track record of providing affective services. Although we can’t guarantee results, therapy is typically nothing short of life changing.
What is ABA? ABA stands for “Applied Behavior Analysis”. It is the science of understanding and changing behavior by systematically altering stimuli in a person’s environment. ABA is considered an evidence-based best practice treatment by the US Surgeon General and by the American Psychological Association. “Evidence based” means that ABA has passed scientific tests of its usefulness, quality, and effectiveness. ABA therapy includes many different techniques. All of these techniques focus on antecedents (what happens before a behavior occurs) and on consequences (what happens after the behavior).
Who can best benefit from this service? While you’ve been reading, you’ve probably thought of at least one person and have wondered, “would this be right for them?”. My suggestion is to ask these questions: 1) is autism affecting his/her ability to function normally in their family or have normal relationships with family members? 2) is autism affecting his/her ability to communicate? 3) is autism affecting his/her ability to be independent at an age appropriate level? (toileting, eating, cleaning etc.) 4) is autism affecting his/her ability to have friends or engage in normal peer activities? 5) is autism affecting his/her ability to function in a normal classroom? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, I encourage you to reach out to us about a consultation
