Saturday night (June 22), come get creepy with the Lynchburg Gothic League! Solemn Shapes from Charlotte, NC will be performing! Immortal Forest will have a table set up selling some wonderful Gothic themed jewelry & other goodies! Multiple DJ's playing all the best dark music you can handle, starting at 9:30 p.m. All we need is YOU, the fabulous members of the Lynchburg Gothic League to make the night perfect!
(18 + for entry, 21+ w/ valid I.D. for the bar, and $7 cover at Super Rad Arcade Bar)

Saturday night, June 22nd, Solemn Shapes is set to perform! DJ's start at 9:30 p.m. $7 cover, 18+ and 21 w/ valid I.D. for the bar! Held inside the bowels of Super Rad Arcade Bar, all the creepy kids of the Lynchburg Gothic League will be there, your presence is requested!

Geesshh, I get it, no one wants to hang out at the funeral home with some creepy mortician... You'd rather dance at an arcade bar, it makes complete sense! ;)
We will be reaching out to the ownership of Super Rad Arcade Bar to schedule the next Goth night this month, stay tuned!

Did you know that, if you have ever attended a "Every Day is Halloween" Goth night, that makes YOU an official member of the Lynchburg Gothic League! We don't have dues we make you pay or membership cards, all you need to do is support our events! ...with that in mind, I want to hear from our membership on the event we book for the month of June. The options are:

A. Book another Goth night at Super Rad Arcade Bar! Obviously it was an overwhelmingly positive experience and event at this new venue!
B. Horror Movie Night & Crematory Tour at Tharp Funeral Home! I have had a lot of requests to host another movie night again with the late night tour of the mortuary and embalming display!

Unfortunately due to my schedule, I can't do both events in the month of June. The majority votes will decide on this, just simply reply/respond either Option A or Option B below and I'll be asking this same question on our instagram account/page! Tell your friends to vote, I will shut down the voting in 48hrs. and tally the result! ☠️

OHHh MY GOTH, what an EPIC event that was last night! 'Every Day is Halloween' Goth night had nearly 300 in attendance last night, I didn't think that was possible in Lynchburg!!! You all made it beautifully spooky! A huge thank you to our host venue Super Rad Arcade Bar! I can't thank you all enough for coming!

VARIETY, is the spice of life we have heard said...and at all of our Every Day is Halloween Goth nights, we League DJ's pride ourselves in the wide variety of music we play! You'll hear everything from: classic 80's Goth Rock, to early Punk Rock, Industrial music, 80's New Wave, current Synth-Wave, a few tracks of Death & Black Metal, and more! We have an awesome line up of DJ's who have all worked hard on creating magnificent set lists, come hear their tracks you will never hear played anywhere in public on volume level 10! Saturday Night, May 25th, $5 cover, music starts at 9:30 p.m. at Super Rad Arcade Bar! 💀💀💀

Next Saturday night (May 25th) you'll be able to listen to 1980's songs of The Cure, play authentic 1980's video arcade games, and enjoy a cold beer at a new venue: Super Rad Arcade Bar located at 58 9th Street, downtown Lynchburg! DJ's start at 9:30 p.m. and $5 cover gets you unlimited games on the machines! Music will be in the basement with spectacular stone walls and 20 foot high ceilings, ...it's the perfect setting for 'Every Day is Halloween' Goth night! 18 + to enter and 21 w/ valid I.D. for the bar!

A walk down memory lane...the original "Every Day is Halloween" Goth night was held inside Bull Branch downtown on 11th Street. A restaurant way ahead of it's time, the night started somewhere in the early 2000's. Recognize anyone in these photos??? ☠️☠️☠️

I was able to attend at least the first 15 to 20 minutes of the Tea Party at the cemetery today, before my work at the funeral home beckoned my return. The turnout looked fantastic and everyone was dressed in their finest macabre outfits! I can't wait to see the photos Jack Lacy (of Immortal Forest) took of the event! I had a a quick picture taken of some of the "Elder Goths" that were present for posterity!

Attention all "Creepy Kids": there will be no Every Day is Halloween Goth night this month, BUT, there are two fantastic goth related, all ages, events already scheduled this month!

B. "Genesis 5" Saturday, April 27th, at the Forest Rec Center. A annual gathering of Darkwave, Synthwave, Industrial, Sonic Noise, and Alternative music, the $15 door fee gets you at least 6 or 7 bands, DJ's, and light refreshments! Tomorrow night (7/22) at Dish in downtown, The Falsies - “Outrageous and insightful theatrical Punk” & "Absurdist Rock" is how they have been described...music starts at 10:00 p.m. for a $5 cover. Support this show if you are able!

It was a stormy, rainy, and thunderous night when around 40 brave members of the Lynchburg Gothic League (and surrounding areas) gathered to watch the classic gothic horror movie "The Hunger". Held inside Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory! (how Goth are we?!)

In addition to the film, a tour was offered for those fascinated by the mortuary science industry. They asked all the grooviest questions possible from your mortician-host!
