Originally a franchise opened in the 1930’s it was part of a medium sized chain of stores that spanned the East Coast but Allen’s Cut Rate has outlived all the other stores and even the chain itself… today they offer a range of perfumes, cards, gifts, local souvenirs, balloons and other items that are not easily found elsewhere on Broadway.
