Our beloved Papa Nguyen is whipping up his famous Bánh Tét Chiên, a delicacy made of rice and mung beans wrapped in banana leaves. A family tradition that we still hold on to every Lunar New Year since migrating to the US, Papa Nguyen is excited to share his special recipe with you this Lunar New Year.

Pork belly or veggie options are available, come give it a try this weekend 🧧

For Tết this year, we want to bring a little of Tết to TeaCo. For this coming Saturday 01/21 and Sunday 01/22, we will honor the Tết tradition with red envelopes giveaway, fried sticky rice mungbean cake, and traditional calligraphy by Papa Nguyen when you spend more than $20.23 (we're cheesy I know 😝)

For the past 10+ years, everyday after work, papa Nguyen came home and find joy in practicing his penmanship with calligraphy. He has always been an artist for all of our lives.

As our family business has transformed, we want to share with you more of our cultures through not just food, boba & events but also art.

Tết Trung Thu, aka Mid Autumn Moon Festival, aka Children's Festival, is the second biggest festival in Vietnam to show gratitude to the Moon after harvesting and celebrating family reunions.

We'll host our first Moon Festival at TeaCo this weekend to honor the tradition and celebrate this magical festival. We'll have paper lanterns, folk songs, and....the best of all, Mooncakes. We're partnering with the chicest cafe in U-district, Cafe Canuc, to serve you the most elegant mooncakes.

Their assorted moon cake set promises the best with two flavors: black sesame and pistachio.

*the moon cake contains walnuts and may come in contact with other nuts 🥜 (pistachio & sesame) *

Due to limited stock, we'll begin selling these delicious treats at 11:00 AM Friday - in-store only until sold out.
