It's so hard to get a good picture of a big table, you just have to see this one is person! Hand turned legs, mortise and tenon stretchers, nice thick top. This one is 9ft long, it's a custom order but Clay can build one for you any size! 🔨

So... Clay grew up watching Norm Abrams and long ago Norm made this carousel table from an antique he found in Savannah GA that dates back to1830 and was built in Charleston SC. Clay has talked about making this table forever- here is Clay's version, so Clay what took you so long? It's beautiful and every piece made by his hands. The spindle for the lazy susan sits in a turned cup atop the cross stretchers, and the lazy susan is removal if you happen to need it out for a day. Now for the finish, so it should be in the shop later this week- I think it will have an antiqued stain finish- not sure the color yet- light pine or maybe a warm caramel brown. It's 54" round and seats 4 🪚🌲🔨
