Hey everyone! Unfortunately tonight’s skate is cancelled due to scheduling issues. We will keep you up to date with more player RE-signings and schedule for the 2024/25 season and camp information!

The Blue Water Stars are proud to announce the signing of the Schwartz brothers!

Jeremy, Cory, and Cam! This Trio of brothers have played everywhere together, including Metro Jets and Oakland University! Jeremy and Cory have played for the Ga***rd Snow the past 2 years, and this year deciding to come to Blue Water, Cam decided to join them! We are happy to have these brothers in Star jerseys this year!

The Blue Water Stars are proud to announce the signing of Matt Macumber!

Matt had a stint with blue water in the 2022-23 season putting up 8 points in 10 games. Last year wearing a Ga***rd snow jersey, Matt put up 36 points in 15 games! We’re happy to have him back wearing a Stars jersey!

The Blue Water Stars are proud to announce the signing of defenseman Brett Siewertsen!

Brett has played with the Ga***rd Snow the past 2 years, in that time he has had 19 points in 21 games. Brett played his college hockey at Adrian college, and is now the head coach of the D3 program! We are thrilled to have him with us this year!

We know you’ve seen a lot about some of our new additions. But let’s welcome back one of our first of many RE-signings!

Zakk Skog joined us part of the way through the season last year registering 2 goals and 5 assists in 13 games. We couldn’t be more excited to bring back one of our leaders in the locker room, on the bench, and on the ice. He’s been training all summer long and is looking forward to helping us win a championship!

“Zakk’s a work horse. He’s a great player to have on the ice who will battle hard and set up plays. He’s a grinder for sure and we’re happy to have him back in a Stars uniform this season”, says Stars President/General Manager Austin Dunn

The Blue Water Stars are proud to announce the signing of defending defenseman of the year, Kaleb Chillman!

Kaleb stands at 6’4, hailing from Thessalon, Ontario, Kaleb suited up for the Ga***rd Snow the past 2 seasons, playing 27 games and putting up 45 points from the blue line. Kaleb also brings a veteran presence to the team, having stints in the SPHL, Czechia3 and also Netherlands2! We are thrilled to have him!

We have just been informed that there has been a scheduling error with the arena. If you are planning to attend tonight’s skate, unfortunately there is no way to work around and find an alternate time.

Tonight at 7:30 pm is another summer skate! If you’re interested about our organization, please come on out and skate with us. We hope to see you there.

Who would like to see what our players are up to during the off season ? Maybe a video of a “Day In The Life” . .. a little close up and personal with the Stars to get know each player off the ice .

Due to arena scheduling conflicts, tonight’s scheduled skate is canceled. Our next skate is June 20th. Stay tuned for more player signings in the next few days!

The Blue Water Stars are proud to announce the signing of MIHL veteran Bryant Danielson!

In 40 games Danielson scored 32 goals and a total of 98 points while playing for the Ga***rd Snow.

“Bryant is a great guy on and off the ice, this is a huge signing for the organization, and we’re just getting started” -Captain Trevor Pode

“I first met Bryant in the 2022/23 season. Playing on the ice with him, I couldn’t stand playing against him. He’s very fast and can open up the ice while creating havoc in front of the net. He’s a phenomenal athlete with a great attitude on and off the ice. I’m so glad Bryant will be on our team this year as opposed to having to play against him. We are just getting started on our road to the championship”, says Stars President/GM Austin Dunn.

The Blue Water Stars are proud to announce we have signed defenseman DeVon Fields ahead of the 2024/25 MIHL season.

Fields was a member of the inaugural Blue Water Stars in 2022/23. Last season he spent time with the Motor City Rockers in the FPHL and the Ga***rd Snow.

“We are thrilled to have DeVon back in a Stars uniform. He’s an offensive defenseman who we missed very much last season. He can score, set up plays, make big hits and shut down the rush. Not only is he a great player, but he’s an excellent locker room support guy too.”, says Austin Dunn, Stars President/General Manager.

The Blue Water Stars have officially signed defending MIHL MVP Trevor Pode.

In 30 games he has 54 goals and 125 points in that span. He holds the league records for goals assists and points in a single season.

Together, with the foundation the Blue Water Stars has carefully been building, along with the experience and talent Pode brings, we look forward to season three and have our sights set on the MIHL Championship! “We are thrilled to have Pode with us this season. He’s an all around top notch player and will help us find the back of the net this season!”, says Stars President/GM Austin Dunn.

This Thursday is our next summer skate at Suburban Ice Macomb! We hit the ice at 7:30 pm. We hope to see you there!

The '23-'24 MIHL Rookie of the Year award goes to Zach Huggins of the Blue Water Stars! Congrats Zach!

The Blue Water Stars have signed Justin Duplantis for the 2024/25 season! Justin is a versatile player as he is a defenseman and a goaltender. We’re looking forward to having Justin on the blue line this season.

Congratulations to the Waterford Sharks on tonight’s big win! The clean sweep of 3-0 in a 6-3 game. They are now the new champions of the MIHL ending Muskegon’s winning streak.

There is a new MIHL champion 🏆 with the Waterford Sharks !! Way to go boys!
