πŸ’› It's that time of year again! PROGRAM SPOTLIGHTS! πŸ’œ This week we are highlighting our Music program! Here are some of the opportunities you can enjoy by being in the Music program:

- Dozens of scholarship opportunities
- Multiple audition and non-audition ensembles open to all students
- Bring in numerous visiting performers each year
- The new performing arts center (open by the end of 2025)
- Over 150 performances year-round
- Performance opportunities across the country (Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall in May 2025, Marching Band in Hawaii, etc.)
- Applied faculty in each instrument and voice type - specialization in educational experiences
- Esteemed faculty that studied in world-renowned universities with extensive backgrounds in their respective fields

This week’s Program Spotlight is our Meteorology program!πŸ’œπŸ’›Here are some highlights:

- The only program in Illinois with Doppler weather radar

- Create forecasts for local radio stations, deliver the weather segment on the campus TV station, and intern at regional weather offices and local television stations

- State-of-the-art meteorological data analysis, including a weather station, a Linux laboratory, and a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) laboratory

- Receive one-on-one attention from faculty members while meeting the curricular requirements for the National Weather Services (NWS) for employment as a meteorologist
