Everyone is welcome to attend!! Please join us on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Rosie's Park (1111 E Farnum Ave Madison Heights, MI 48071) for our K-9 Demonstration. K-9 Officer Harko and a few of his K-9 Friends from Hazel Park and Royal Oak will be there showing off their skills. Basic obedience, agility, article search, simulated criminal apprehension (such as a dog biting their handler) and mock narcotic searches are conducted during this demonstration.
We’re gearing up for City Hall Selfie Day! 🤳 A yearly celebration of public service organized by Engaging Local Government Leaders where people around the world gather in front of city halls, libraries, and other local government buildings to show community pride.

Mark your calendars! Parents and students are invited to join us on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Madison Heights Adult Active Center for a presentation on ways to keep your children safe on the internet and on their cell phones. Presented by the Madison Heights Police Department and the Madison Heights Crime Commission.
On Thursday July 18, a short section of Stephenson Highway will be repaired south of 12 Mile Road. The work will be done in two phases to maintain one lane of traffic in each direction. NO LEFT TURNS will be allowed for NORTHBOUND vehicles at the intersection, please use the turn-around north of 12 Mile Road. This work is expected to take 1 to 2 days.
Bring your family to Ambassador Park in Madison Heights
Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out and Play event at Ambassador Park in City of Madison Heights!
During this special day, day camps and members of the public can enjoy free access to the zip line, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower.
Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zip line. A waiver form is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are required for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes.
