UPDATE: The parade committee is monitoring the weather situation and will be giving an update at the end of the day (Today, Friday May 24th) at about 5pm.
The Madison Heights Memorial Day Parade is happening THIS Saturday, May 25th, starting at 10 am!
A ceremony will take place after the parade at the Madison High School Football Field.

The General Federation of Women's Clubs' constitution was ratified on April 24, 1890. The GFWC promotes civic improvements through volunteer service.

Earth Day Drive-Thru event is coming up next Saturday, April 20 from 11am-1pm...please enter the City of Southfield, Michigan USA - Government from the north roundabout entrance to take advantage of these earth friendly services and collections, which include: Free document shredding, free radon testing kits, free walk up narcan training and prescription drug storage lockboxes, non-perishable food collection, used or expired prescription drug collection, gently used clothing collection, bike collection, etc. Our partners include: Vibe Credit Union, Southfield Police Department, Alliance of Coalitions for Healthy Communities, Oakland Schools - Michigan, Christ Church Cranbrook, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services

Throwback Thursday to when Roslyn Yerman was with the Madison Heights Library and shared this story about one of her favorite things!
GFWC Madison Heights Women's Club paperwork for our "Living the Volunteer Spirit Scholarship" has been sent to Lamphere, Madison and Bishop Foley. Please give them a few days to be posted on your scholarship sites.
This year we are proud to have increased the amount to $500. Applications are due in a sealed envelope or via email by May 1, 2024. More details in the paperwork.
We hope you will encourage your graduating female volunteers to apply. Applicants must have attended a Madison Heights high school for at least 2 years.
