Today is Yom HaZikaron, Israel's National Day of Remembrance. Today and always, we remember the soldiers and civilians who have lost their lives in the struggle to defend the State of Israel. May their memories be a blessing.
Thank you everyone who came to make our inaugural event a success! We look forward to many great events to come
TheĀ Baal Shem TovĀ insisted that when you do a favor for another, there must be no strings attached and no expectations.
Of course, you want this person to become a better person, a more spiritual person, to fulfill the purpose for which this soul came to earth by learningĀ TorahĀ and doingĀ mitzvahs.
And of course doing someone a favor is the best way to get that happening.
But when you do a favor, it has to be just for the sake of doing a favor. Unconditional love.
And that is the only way that love can have its effect.
TheĀ mitzvahĀ to care for another Jew as though this Jew were you.
The power to transcend labels and identify with every Jew in the world.
The love Jews have for one another as though we are a single being.
Because in truth we are.
Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach! We hope you have a restful and meaningful Chol Hamoed Shabbos.
TheĀ ZoharĀ callsĀ matzahĀ the bread of faith.
TheĀ ZoharĀ also callsĀ matzahĀ the bread of healing.
The matzah of the first night ofĀ PassoverĀ nourishes the deep, inherent faith of a Jew.
And then, there is no need for healing, for there is no room for sickness to enter
B"H RAV AVIGDOR MILLER ZT"L ON MOSHE RABBEINU AT THE SEDER
Q:
Why isnāt Moshe Rabbeinu mentioned in the Haggadah shel Pesach?
A:
This is a perennial question; it always crops up.
And the answer of course is that thereās no need to mention him. Moshe Rabbeinu is not the person thatās being spoken about now. Tonight weāre talking about Hakadosh Baruch Hu and the Am Yisroel.
And we have to realize that Moshe Rabbeinu is making the korban pesach together with us. Heās at the Seder! You want Moshe Rabbeinu to mention his own name at the Seder? Imagine, heās right there with us together; weāre all making the Seder. Itās not the time to talk about him.
Moshe Rabbeinu started the Seder in his time. And he planned the form of the Seder. So he should say, āMention me in the Sederā?
And therefore, at the Seder, Moshe Rabbeinu is speaking: ×¢×××× ×××× × ×××Ø×¢× ××צ×Ø××. He is together with us. And therefore his name doesnāt have to be mentioned.

Judaism focuses more on the journey than the destination. What are you doing now, here, today, this moment? What can you be doing? What should you be doing? It focuses on finding deeper meaning and connection in every activity, in every moment. It's designed to help you define yourself. And then to rise up to your potential and make your mark on the world hashem had given us.
