Tenant Resource Center is Moving!
On January 8th, 2024 we will open the doors to our new office, located at 2510 Winnebago Street.
While we are sad to say goodbye to our office in the Social Justice Center, we are excited for the opportunities that will come with a larger space. We look forward to providing:
• More privacy for community members who come into our office to discuss personal rental concerns
• A dedicated space for eviction court-involved tenants to attend initial court hearings virtually
• A larger waiting area which will accommodate families seeking services
• Easier access to public parking, including accessible parking stalls
• A large conference room for meetings and trainings
Keep an eye out for more details to come about the space and when we can invite all of you to celebrate a grand opening!

This sleepy little guy is "Scout" and he is 2 years old. Scout is 1/2 Dachshund and 1/2 Cocker Spaniel. He loves his naps and plays hard; he only weighs about 17 pounds and he "snores like a trucker" sometimes. He also likes to bark at plants. Yeah, he's pretty scary. Scout is our HII-Community pet of the week and will also be in our "Pets of HII- Community calendar."
It's the End of Daylight Savings time- time to "Fall Back" one hour - yay! one more hour of sleep!!!
Got a pet we can add to our calendar??? See how to get them adored by many, and a little gift for the holidays- as well as get them entered for a drawing for $100 gift card to Pet Smart!
Solidarity for our brothers and sisters still living outside. Most of our community has come out of homelessness into HII housing, and this time of year it is impossible to forget how many of us are still living without a roof over our heads or the security of a door that locks or heat in a storm.
Meet "Quinn"- he will be 4 years old on New Year's Eve. Quinn likes to burrow in the snow and make snow angels in fresh snow.
Quinne is the first HII Community pet of the week! He is also our first entry for our pets of HII Community Calendar.
Look forward to seeing more pictures of our much loved puppies, kitties, hamsters, lovebirds and more over the next weeks and months! Calendars will be available at the end of December for free to any and all HII community member. Check out the November Newsletter for details on how to get your pet included in our calendar.
