Working on something custom for Dover, MN. 🐮

So I am playing around with the idea of bringing some people in and helping me accomplish some of these tasks below. I would meet with you on discord and have some conversation. It be like a application process and interview. This would be completely voluntary basis. Positions I would like to look for is,

Modder to help when needed with buildings and random things

Photographer to take some photos of the mods

Moderators to watch the group.

I don’t know how this process will go yet but it is time I start to look for some other quality people to help. This will need a verification process to make sure you can do what you say you can do. Lol

Here’s the deal y’all, I normally just ignore people that write negative things but this one bugs me. If you have nothing good to say, or don’t enjoy my mods, gladly show yourself the door. Y’all think mods are so easy to do or maps come over night. I am in the military, I am firefighter, I have 2 kids under 2, and I am getting another job as a instructor for firefighters. Here’s the deal I do this in my spare time to better the community and bring mods to FS. If y’all think I’m claiming fame for something that is already out aka animals or crops, not once did I say I created it. I implemented it in a map that I am creating from scratch. There’s no guide on how to do this but trial and error. I spent 4 hours working on a map doing things and was proud of making head way on the map. Someone decides to comment and be rude with their comments. There has been modders leaving this series left and right or staying private or even making you pay. I do this for free. I spend hours at my computer making things when hell I don’t even play the game anymore. Get over yourselves. Grow up. Use your common sense and if you have nothing good to say, keep it to yourself. I put out quality things and not junk. I have seen people rush things and put out maps and items that are seriously trash. Textures are off, things don’t work, and frankly there are models bought of the internet or taken from giants. I spent 5 hours creating a dealership from scratch. I spent another 10 hours retexturing buildings for another project. You only see the pictures and post but not the time behind the scenes. I am sick and tired of the entitlement, disrespect and pure disregard for modders in the FS community.

WITH THIS BEING SAID,

If you show any sign of disrespect, I will remove you from the groups. I am done. I am not going to waste my time on people who can’t show respect for the time and effort we put into these mods. If it continues, I will stop making mods. The community is toxic sometimes and the toxic behavior will not be here. We promote others and help others out. I will not show you how to do it, but I will give you the tools to learn. I am thankful for MRG Mapping for helping me out and allowing me to learn from his lessons that he produced. Keep it respectfully y’all!

Sorry for the rant but I cannot stand seeing it anymore!

Added small details, finished the buildings for the pig farm, and added Minnesota Liscense plates.

Well, I have a Allis Chalmers Dealership now in Dover,MN. Check out some of the screenshots. Even though it might look like John MacFarlane's from Westby, this shop was based off it but is not that shop. I created this Allis Chalmers dealership for Dover MN.

Well, after two days of working on this, I have fields, real geographical features and DEM to the area and loaded into the game. I still have a bunch of work to do still, but only two days in, multiple trial and errors, I feel accomplished. I will let ya'll know this, the map is based in Wisconsin. Stay Tuned! 😎

I know I have been absent the last few weeks. My time has been limited due to being the summer but I am slowly getting back into things. Here is the news I am working on. I will be abandoning most my projects that I had going on. Reason for this.... well I am going to try my hand in making a map. We will see how long this takes. I hope everyone understands.

Sorry everyone, I have no update on the stable or old school barn. I have been super busy in real life. I have not had a chance to sit down and work on it. Summer months are always the hardest to get time at the computer. I also try to not release beta versions of anything I make. I want a final product when I release it so that I may move onto the next project. I have quite a few things on the list to include, the horse ranch pack, a beef operation, a diary operation, and some more things that I am working on behind the scenes. Just be patient and it will come.

Hey Alexa, Play Highway to Hell by AC/DC. I am excited to announce another project. I am excited to bring you a older style barn. This is first of many. I am also still working on the stable but needed a break from it. Enjoy these screenshots of this massive barn. I have not decided if it will be just a hay/ vehicle storage or cattle. Here is the deal everyone, I have some things to say.

1. Read the dang rules that you agreed on. Stop posting things that include links. My moderators will remove it. I have given a lot of free passes. That includes, other mods, live streams, and stuff that’s not farm sim related. Also so begging for mods. Do some research online to find them. This is my biggest pet peeve. I read every comment. No more free passes. If I recognize your name for doing more then once, I will just suspend you from posting. When you are off of suspension, you do it again, I will remove you from the group. No exceptions ya’ll. I enjoy seeing pictures of farms setups and mods just like the rest of us, but don’t let yourself get out of hand. I do this to protect my community from downloading crap mods out there. I barely play farm simulator right now as it is, I can’t test every mod that is posted.

2. My mods are PC only and will be for the foreseeable future. I release these off of mod hub. Sorry. It is my choice. I tend to put so much detail in my buildings that they are too big for console.

3. Stop complaining about how something I build is. This is my vision, my designs, from scratch. I test all of my buildings the best I can. You need to do your due diligence before complaining the my buildings have a issue. Mod conflicts, poor pc’s that barely run Farm Sim and you are running a million mods, or just pure ignorance are normally the root cause. Pictures are the best thing to diagnose a problem. Things slip through the cracks. I am one person. If you want something different or you want a different building here are some suggestions, get on YouTube, get in blender and learn how to mod. That brings me to my next point.

4. My time is limited. Do not ask me if I can teach you how to mod, make a mod, or convert someone else’s work. If you have a legitimate question on a topic, be specific and it’s your original mod, I will gladly help the best to my ability. If you ask me to do something, I will not. I will gladly explain how to. This is how I learned. I did it all by trial and error, YouTube and a select few explaining to me how to do something. Not just doing it for me. I do however take suggestions for future projects but it’s never guaranteed.

I literally spend my free time modding for this game and community for free. I do accept donations for my time but they aren’t required. I have 2 children under 2, work a full time job, am part of the Military and Volunteer Fire Department. Not to mention it’s summer time.

Relax. Enjoy the game. Be smart with the words you choose.

Tonights Progress.

Got the doors modeled. Coded one door. This building is not going to be the only building I work on. I have decided I am going to hold onto this to release it in a pack. While I keep the rest of the pack secret, I will say it will fulfill all your horse needs. I do not see people having horse farms. I am going to change that in FS.

ANNOUCEMENT

Well the next building in the CC Buildings Line is the CCM Horse Stable.

This horse stable will be able to house 8 horses. I am going to work out a paddock with this buildings for the horses to roam. Let me know what you think in the comments so far. I have about 3 days into this model already and this is where I am at.

Next stop, sliding gates, wooden siding, rock flashing on the building, lights, decorations, and coding. My skills are sharping every day to produce these buildings.

If anyone didn’t know I am in the military and have been in the field for the last few days. Service has been slim to none. I try to get on here and see your posts, but it never is guaranteed. I will be home next week Wednesday and won’t be starting back modding till the end of the week! Thank you all for the support with the shop! It’s been great to see! We have broke 2000 downloads! Thank you for this! There will be a update coming when I get home to fix the blue lift inside the shop. It was a coding error that will get fixed. This will not affect the placeable that is already on so many maps!

Well everyone, I will be leaving for a week for training starting today. I will still have access to the group and page, but no modding until I get back. Hope everyone is enjoying the shop!
