Last Tuesday, the American Family Children's Hospital kicked off its 100th anniversary celebration with a state-wide proclamation from Governor Tony Evers. After the proclamation, the Governor and First Lady toured the hospital with Ellen Wald, MD (Chair, Department of Pediatrics), Alan Kaplan, MD (Chief Executive Officer, UW Health), and Barbara Byrne, DNP (Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer, American Family Children’s Hospital).
