Compassion Connection

One of the wonderful things about our Pastor’s Training is the opportunity for pastors from all over Ecuador to fellowship together. Some of these pastors feel isolated and the encouragement of fellow leaders is very uplifting.

Please be praying for this coming week as we initiate a new training cycle in Ecuador.
Pray for God's grace to abound through every opportunity to preach and teach His word, and may His presence bring brothers and sisters together from all over Ecuador, united as His family and representatives of many families in this wonderful country!

Connections That Inspire:
Last week, we had the privilege to visit Dario and Maria in the jungle. It was a truly uplifting time, filled with meaningful conversations about life, ministry, and the future work. These moments of connection remind us of the beauty that unfolds when hearts aligned with purpose come together.

Diving Deep 📖✨ In our theological training program, we explore the timeless threads that weave through the entire Bible: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Glorification. We dissect how these themes unfold in various stories across different books, revealing profound insights. For instance, in the captivating tale of Ruth, we witness God's redemption of Ruth, a Moabite, through Boaz. Simultaneously, we see how this fits into God's grand plan for a future king destined to rule Israel with the fear of God. And, as we dive deeper, we are witnesses that God's divine hand wrote the story to point at our eternal Savior, Jesus.

Fixing our gaze on eternal treasures with Jesus by our side is a beautiful journey that demands effort, prayer, and a heartfelt desire to prioritize the eternal over the temporary. It's easy to be enticed by the allure of worldly distractions, but let's recognize the temptations that lead us astray, often pulling us back to ourselves. Let's resist those distractions and keep our hearts set on Christ, who is our most valuable treasure

You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

Teamwork makes the dream work!

At our Youth Retreat, we witnessed God's marvelous orchestration, bringing together diverse souls from various backgrounds and ages. Each one with their unique stories, struggles, and aspirations. It was heartwarming to witness this community of believers breaking down the barriers of local churches and surpassing the walls we unintentionally erected. This beautiful perspective is a gift from Christ, whose mercy unites and separates us for His divine purpose, revealing the boundless love of God.

Surrendering our selfish desires allows us to find true fulfillment and purpose in serving those around us and following God with all our being. Let's be His hands and feet of love, compassion, and kindness towards or brothers and sisters in need.

Blessed Time: A Women's Retreat, where we delved into God's Word, discovering the profound relationship of Jesus with His disciples. Learning to abide in Him, finding strength in every circumstance, for He is our source of life. Trials may come, but as we remain in the Lord, in His Word, in prayer, and in the community of believers, we bear abundant fruit. What a joyous and enriching journey we shared together!

We are getting ready to welcome 90 different women at our Lasso Training Center next week! They will be arriving from different parts of Ecuador to study John 15:1-17. This text shows Christ saying some of His last words with His disciples and encouraging them to abide in Him. Our hope and desire is that every Christian will desire to study and apply the Word of God in their lives and in thier contexts. Please pray for us as we finish up with last-minute logistics and preparing the teachings.

In the many years of CC, we are thankful for the group of people that have come and served behind curtains. They have prepared meals, cleaned the property, translated, taught, encouraged and loved others through their quiet service.

Today we are thankful for their help and perseverance. They are fundamental in our mission to bring the Word of God to others in need of good news.

What a good time we had with our brothers and friends from the Verbo Church in Machala and with all those who attended the informative meeting. Our wish is to see you soon dear friends.
