I was thinking about changing the winnings for the gatcha machine to crystals/rocks/fossils. Instead of jewelry. What do you guys think? Keep it the same? Or a mix of both?? We are all appalled and disgusted in the reptile community. I don't even own a snake and know this snake is extremely emaciated. I don't think I can actually wear and enjoy my vans every again after this. Vans still hasn't made a single comment, just removing content. That's so sad from such a big company. Animal abuse isn't cool. And we DEFINITELY don't condone it here. 🤌⚠️👆

I am writing to express serious concern regarding a recent advertisement from Vans featuring an emaciated ball python.

As a professional python breeder and owner of Leftside Reptiles LLC, I find this portrayal deeply troubling and believe it constitutes animal abuse.

The depiction of an emaciated snake in your advertisement is not only insensitive but also ethically reprehensible. By profiting from the exploitation of an animal in such a neglected condition, Vans sends a harmful message to consumers about the treatment of living beings.

As a reputable company, Vans has a responsibility to promote ethical standards in its advertising. This includes ensuring that all representations of animals align with principles of responsible care and respect for their well-being. The use of an emaciated ball python in your advertisement undermines these principles and may perpetuate misconceptions about proper animal husbandry.

I strongly urge Vans to immediately cease the use of such imagery in your marketing campaigns. Furthermore, I request clarification on Vans' policies regarding the ethical treatment of animals in advertising and any corrective actions planned to address this issue.

Cranking out sets of nails for this expo in Rothschild this weekend. Will I see you?!

Meet Bear, the muse, the supervisor, and the moral/emotional support animal for Spooky Treasure Crafts. He oversees most projects and has to at least get a good look to make sure everything is in tip top shape around here. He's quite a busy boy, he can be found in my craft chair, in his cat tree, or in any box he sees fit.

Sorry about my radio silence lately. The month of may has been a rough month for me. We lost my baby deer (Stella my dog) in the first week along with another family pet plus many of my friends are also dealing with deaths too. I'd had Stella basically my whole adult life (12 years) and she was my soul puppy. I had a creative block and honestly a lack of motivation for a while. But I'm back with a proud set of nails I finished last night. All nails are freehanded and painted by myself while my cat, Bear, supervises.

I plan to have multiple different styles and sizes for the May 26th expo for Scaled Up Expos in Rothschild. Sizes small, medium, and large. Would anyone need a size xs? I will have nails with me to size yourself and can help anyone learn to measure their own fingernails! Custom ordering will be available but I will be limiting spots as they do take me hours to complete lol I will have a few basic and matte designs as well.

These beauties took me 3 hours, head in the clouds ☁️☁️

A finished custom set, all nails will come with 24 adhesive tabs, nail glue, a cuticle pusher, a file, a heart buffer (not pictured because they haven't arrived yet!) and 2 alcohol wipe pads. 👌

Since I want to have some nail sets available for the Scaled Up Expos , how should I go about that? Would you guys want to pre order sizing kits to check your size? (Only $5 untracked package, I would be shipping them inside a card) Or have kits of standard sizing like XS, S, M, and L sets premade? Or measure and pre-order at the expo and have them shipped? What do you guys think?

Measuring in mm from the widest part of your nail across on a flat surface is the best way to determine size.
