**Leash Skills for Better Walks**: Not outdoor, but essential for enjoyable walks. Learn tools, tips, and exercises for better leash behavior.

**Outdoor Teenager (6-18 months)**: Master communication with your adolescent dog in real-life outdoor settings at Dairy Ridge Dog Park, Verona.

Lions, tigers, and bears - Oh My! We will use your pup’s searching skills to seek out, chase down, and play with different zoo animals.

June 10 - June 14: Choose Your Adventure Week
Option 1: Pool Noodle Obstacle Fun - Jump over, crawl under, chase, and so much more with our pool noodles.
Option 2: Father’s Day Craft - bird feeder! We’ll spend time making a special bird feeder that’s a perfect gift for dad!

June 17-21: Let’s Go on a Picnic
Together we will go on a scanger hunt to find all the supplies for our picnic together.

June 24-28 Trick Week: Go Out/Around
We're bringing the Rodeo to enrichment this week and teaching our dogs some Barrel Racing!

If cheese week isn’t enough or if *gasp* your dog doesn't like cheese, June 7th is Donut Day! Our baker will be creating Apple Peanut Butter dog-friendly donuts.

Celebrate National Cheese Week June 3-7

Well, technically, June 4th is Cheese Day BUT since this is Wisconsin, we are turning it into an entire week! We will taste-test different kinds of cheese - squeeze cheese, block cheese, shredded cheese - just to name a few.
If you sign up beforehand, your pup will bring home a personalized cheese board with their name and favorite cheese!

Our Puppy A classes focus on building essential skills both on-leash and off-leash, including focusing when distracted, recalls & name recognition, leave-its & drop-its, greetings & socialization, and much more.

We offer two versions of this class to best match your puppy’s developmental stage:

- 17 weeks to 24 weeks

A Family Dog Mediator is a trained professional who assists in resolving conflicts or issues within a family involving their dog. Acting as a neutral party, the mediator helps facilitate communication and understanding among family members to address concerns related to the dog's behavior, training, or well-being. Their role is to foster a harmonious relationship between the family and the dog by guiding discussions, offering advice, and suggesting solutions that take into account the best interests of both the family and the dog. Ultimately, the goal of a Family Dog Mediator is to promote a positive and nurturing environment for both the family and their beloved pet.

The LEGS Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation Professional Course by Kim Brophy is a specialized training program designed to educate professionals in the field of family dog mediation. This course covers topics related to applied ethology, which is the scientific study of animal behavior in natural settings. It focuses on providing professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to mediate and resolve conflicts within families involving their dogs.

The course covers various aspects of dog behavior, communication, training techniques, and conflict resolution strategies specific to family dynamics. Participants learn how to assess and understand dog behavior, effectively communicate with families, and provide guidance on managing and modifying the dog's behavior to create a harmonious environment.
