Our Story
Might Roots Micro-farm is a locally owned urban farm in Wisconsin with a mission to educate people about growing their own food in small spaces.
Mighty Roots grows a select variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers sourced from heirloom and certified organic seeds. We utilize tried and true horticultural principles to ensure the highest quality and highest yields possible within a given environment. All plants are grown in a special soil mix using only natural and organically produced materials.
We know that an enormous amount of food can be grown in small spaces, using the right techniques. We do research on our plots and report our findings via blogs, videos, social media, live events and private consultation services. Our goal is to inform the public about micro-farming methods and provide consultation services to help people and businesses set up in their own micro-farms.
