Superior customer service is one of the most important qualities for this position and your willingness to provide this to each customer makes you a valued candidate. To be qualified for this position, the ideal candidate must have a high school diploma and be eager to learn. We look for individuals with effective communication and strong teamwork skills and the ability to multi-task. Minimum knowledge of trench safety equipment is preferred and diligent attention to safety is a must.
Customer Service Skills
• Greet Customers
• Answer Phone Calls
• Schedule reservations for rental equipment on the computer
• Prep equipment, if necessary, prior to loading
• Check rental contracts/invoices daily to be sure the equipment is available, serviced and ready to go out
• Help customer load and unload equipment
• Verify and copy customer’s DL or any identification papers required before making rental contracts/invoices
• Secure loaded equipment per company procedure
• Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage, verify gas tank for fuel consumption and hours on the meter if applicable.
• Maintain clean customer receiving area
• Perform other duties as requested
Basic computer Skills:
• Microsoft office
• Basic Typing
• Learn to make invoices/rental contracts
• Learn to close invoices/rental contracts upon return of equipment
• Payment processing per company merchant account
Starting at $14/hour based on experience

We are looking for someone who truly wants to grow and advance in their career here, so this role is entry level with plenty of opportunity to grow. OT available in the busier season.
